I think your wrong its ACL who should pi** off ripping our club off. We need to make a stand & why should we pay more than any other club & not even have the match day takings. ACL want the club to pay top wack in rent & then expect to get all the match day money spent by the fans. Great win last night to boost the club which could be the turning point for the club on the field. Then ACL kick us in the bol**ks with this demand.

This isn't Sisu being unreasonable, this is the greedy bastards at ACL. I don't trust Mutton either and his Council Cronies. It's waving their dicks to see who's got the biggest and Sisu should not back down. The rent is ridiculous - let them kick us out !! We WILL eventually find somewhere else - who knows, our own place eventually more suited to our crowd sizes. A 15-20 thousand ground would be adequate !!

Yes the rent is ridiculous however this was the agreed rate, you pay what you agree too!!! Fine agree a lower rate going forward but you owe what you owe, ignoring it will not mae it go away, they will just have no option to send the boys round to take.......oh yeah we don't have anything!!!

On what basis ? I'm the kinda fan who turns up to every home game and most away games to cheer on my team. If that's made the club rotten then I'm an awful fan !!
What does that make you !!!! I dread to think.

There is no getting away from the fact that the rent is too high and an amount that we just can't afford to keep paying.
I know it is what was agreed in the past, but we simply can not keep paying it and continue as a club.

There has got to be a point where we at least start to break even, or we won't get anywhere.
No one is going to keep funding the losses year after year.

Im really sure whos being unreasonable... if ACL are prepared to lower the rent why are they demanding the full 1.1m over the last 10 months... i dont think there to keen to lower the rent by much due to there own debts.
surely they should say right pay us 500k a year and you can have access to the foods, drinks and car parks.. not 1.2m just to play there on a saturday afternoon ! its redicioulas this is whats stopping coventry signing good players ! an extra 1m + from the lower rent, food, drinks and car park a year could go a hell of a long way

SORT it out ACL (be realistic)
SORT it out SISU (get round a table, and thrash a deal to buy or lower rent)

Fact 1: the club had the income from car parking, but sold it on - a bit like they sold this season's income from season tickets to get the money early
Fact 2: the club have had several offers of lower rent (including your suggestion of £500k, AND TURNED THEM ALL DOWN.
I suggest you don't swallow everything Fisher tells you, you'll only choke.

The rent is only too high because SISU asset stripped the team just when it looked like we were going to build a side that would have taken us to the premiership. If they had only marginally continued the investment giving us a chance of promotion, the fans would have returned having had their interest regenerated. The Club would probably have been promoted from The Championship, or at worst had a good go at it via the play-offs. If they had followed their original promise of investment in young talented players and not renagued on giving them new contracts when promosed we would now be in the Premiership, having raised the funds to buy the Higgs share of the Stadium, SISU having profited on their investment and f**ked off and we would 'nt be in this position debating the very future of the Club!!!!!!

Rant Over! I'm off for my vallium!

What's with the 'if you don't agree with me, you're a moron' attitude?

Kind of self depicting if you ask me.

Would fans then support SISU if they paid the rent and sold half the squad to achieve this?

That is the reality isn't it. Pay a £1.2 million rent and assemble a much inferior squad. As long as people want that fair enough.

even if they were given a 'peppercorn' rent, does anyone seriously think sisu would invest in the team

But they have invested in the team. Not much in terms of transfer fees except Barton, but a decent wage bill to build a team for this league. You can blame SISU for a lot but not the quality of the players the budget was used on.

If you rented your house out and found out that the reason the rent wasn't being paid was the tenant had gone to every house on the street and got the average rental costs of the area and stopped paying your rent as its to high- would you be happy!!!!!! or would you say to the tenant should of done this before you signed a contract.

Then hear well yes but im not paying rent but ill pay for the water, gas and electric when i use it, until you help by lowering the rent...Would you be happy!!! So as a Landlord ok ill take 50% off the rent, tenant thinks about it then informs you still not paying, would you be happy!!..

And then with still no rent paid you find out that the blame is put on you while the tenant is still there and taking profit on a parkin space he rents out on the property,, trust me happy is not a word that fits how you feel!!!...

If you fail to prepare then be prepared to fail, SISU should of had a plan to cover every possibility even failue (relegation) they haven't and now they are crying. Dont feel sorry for them they have played hard ball and at the minute lost, be angry that these people have brought our club to todays situation..

Sisu were relying on buying at least half the ground. It's ACL who are playing hard ball.

Sisu have never planned for not getting the Ricoh,, they have agreed the contract becuase they thought the share would of been purchased by now.. You cant blame ACL for SISU not having a plan B, or blame them for offering 50% reduction and it being turn downed, but your opinion is yours but not sure many would agree.

You also can't blame Sisu for wanting lower rent and a matchday income?

You can't win no matter what you say or think really. I just wish someone would show me all the billionaires lining up waiting to buy CCFC! I've not seen any

They've caused nothing but trouble ever since they came here. More debt, p**sed off fans, £0 transfer budget. Whats was the point of them coming here? WE WANT SISU OUT! WE WANT SISU OUT!
