A month and a half old this but for anyone who hasn't seen it SISU feature:
13:44 - 22:00

All of it is worth a watch though.

I don't condone their behaviour in all of this footage but I can't help but envy the passion and pride shown by FCUM fans.

Envious of the pride and passion of FC fans - not surprised as loyalty appears to be something you lack you muffin. Haven't you fucked off to watch Cov Utd yet?

Loyalty to a hedge fund sponsor? No thanks. I'd take Cov Utd over that any day of the week... you doughnut.

1344 to 2200?

That's over 8 fucking hours! Missed the first three hours now anyway, as it's 1642 now.

You showed immense loyalty to the hedge-fund sponsor for years.

I never did, but always supported the team regardless, even with your mates in charge.

Are we supposed to support club owners rather than clubs nowadays then?

Is there some sort of league table for them?

Founding of Bablake School, taking in the Civil War, before ending up with Daleks invading earth?

(I may have had to Google one of those, and one may or may not happen)

You say that rev, but Lord makes a valid point. The ones that lauded the evil hedge fund the most are now the ones that whinge the loudest. I thought what we needed was hard nosed business people. That's what we got, it's all about the money for them and it has been from day 1.

Yeah, Ginetta's support for Sisu made RFC look quite positively understated.

On another matter, can't believe two people took my comment about the length of the programme seriously, NW excepted, never realised Bablake was that old to be honest.

tbf, I'd have a certain respect for any film maker who made an eight century long documentary.

Well this is the crux of it and the point of the documentary. You should watch it.

Clubs and communities are more and more a sideshow to big business and greed. CCFC is an example of that just like the situation that proved to be the catalyst for the formation of FCUM.

Our game has had it's heart and soul ripped out at the highest levels.

I've become disillusioned with the whole thing and lost the passion I once had as a consequence.

Yes, I welcomed them at the time. But don't try and claim you knew they were after the stadium and that the football club would play second fiddle. We had directors and highly successful businessman that didn't know that was the case ffs

Being a hedge fund sponsor doesn't necessarily mean you have to be a terrible owner. Wasps 'hedge fund' have already made far more an effort in our community in the short space of time they've been here than SISU ever did.

For once Ginetta, I acyually agree with you.

Sadly the genie was let out of the bottle a long time ago, and our club was one of those shortsighted enough to support the Premier League and keeping all the money for those in the top league without thinking about what would happen if we dropped out of it.

Indeed they have, managed to move their team over twice the distance that Sisu managed with ours.

Trebles all round for Wasps!

As would we inevitably would have, just like all the other potential lower half Prem teams have, West Ham, Soton, Stoke, Sheff Wed, QPR, Leicester, Sunderland, Palace, Boro, Burnley, Derby, Ipswich, Norwich, Blackburn, Cardiff, Forest, Charlton, Wolves, Reading, Leeds, Fulham, Birmingham, Wigan, Blackpool.. all been up there & down.. in last 20 years (ermm.. I think, from memory, I haven't checked).
