I know people hate litigation and news of CCFC's owners going to court again is not good news.
However currently we have lost our stadium to a franchise and SISU are going to court to challenge the legitimacy of the deal.
Lets not forget the partnership between Cov Council & Wasps has ended up with us loosing the Ricoh.

I 100% agree SISU have played a dirty tricks tactic to get the Ricoh. However we lost it a few weeks ago and if this court action can bring it closer to us again, I for one would be delighted.

I know people justifiably are bitter overall towards SISU but on this one court battle surely we need get behind them and hope they win?

There is nothing to win as such. The Ricoh has been sold to wasps. No court case or anything will change this now. This latest news today is just normal procedure and we shouldn't read too much into it but no doubt we all will.

Best thing we can do right now is get behind the team starting tomorrow and get as many down as possible to cheer on a sky blues win and things will look better already. Win the next 3 on Trot and the season completely changes.

Couldn't give a flying one.

Win or lose I don't see it benefiting the club either way.

It was never "our stadium" we've only ever been lodgers. If sisu had not wasted shit loads of cash on pointless legal actions time and time again they could have got The Ricoh for what Wasps have got it for and not have lost thousands of fans at the same time. They truly are business Giants!

Really depends on what the court battle is and if and how it could benefit the club. If it would benefit the club, then yes I would want them to win. If it would damage the club, then no.

SISU seem to be trying to distance the club from this court action, so I don't see how it could possibly benefit the club.

In which case, don't care who wins but would like to see some more truths come out from either side.

Which is why I put IF. I don't know all of the potential outcomes from it.

Like I said, I don't know, which is why I used the word IF. If I thought the potential outcome was going to be good for CCFC I would have said "Yes I want them to win because it would be good for CCFC because...."

There is no good outcome is there? So its pretty pointless saying that its OK if there's a good outcome.

Here's a bad outcome for you. I would say there's more than a good chance that our new landlords ain't happy about it, lets hope it doesn't effect their decision to grant the +2 years on the current deal. Do you think our club could survive another move to Northampton? I don't.

I don't know, people suddenly now think moving teams and franchising is ok and you would have the chairman of the trust promoting it and justifying it and having an influence so would it be as bad as before?

We don't know if there is a good outcome do we? We could sit and make scenarios up all day. I just want what is best for the club, some just want whatever hurts SISU most.

Franchising is NOT ok. Whether it's Wimbledon being moved to Milton Keynes, Cov to Northampton (temporary...and please no more suggestions they might repeat that), London Wasps to Cov, or CCFC to Brum or wherever next...franchising is a cancer killing sport in this country.

We should all stand against it. I have never been to Winkie's Asda stadium in Milton Keynes and never shall.

How many football clubs have moved to a totally different city and been renamed? How many more are proposing to do this? Please clarify this in percentage terms of all league teams. Then we can calculate how far the cancer has grown and how much it will potentially grow. That will give us an accurate perspective.

Sorry buddy if SISU successfully sue the council for say £15 million, how does that take us closer to Ricoh ownership?

question Nick... if it hurts SISU, isnt it more likely they will eventually leave, thus resulting in it being "best for the club" ?

If people want the best for the club the quicker SISU leave the better.. They couldn't of giving been more obvious in what they care about and are still trying to get... They have and are still are taking everyone as mugs, while people pay they will carry on going to court while using the club as a vehicle to gain something they have openly said they don't want,, they have moved on,, and they are building a new one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now TF and SW will distance themselves from this latest court case and make out the club and owners are apart,,, sad that the FL don't and didn't see what these owners really are UNFIT TO BE INVOLVED IN FOOTBALL...

Nick does what's best for the club, override everything else?

Also if SISI win how will that benefit the club.

How about they don't won 'because they are wrong like every step so far has proven' would supporting legal action ' if they win it helps the club' be fruitless because they won't win and while they fight it CCFC stagnates or sinks.

I don't know what would come next in terms of ownership, it could be worse. My gut instinct says it could be a lot better.

So I would say in your interest 'if its good for the club'
Go with new owners. It's a better bet IMO'

Where are these new owners?

In terms of best for the club, yes that overrides most things.

I didn't say it would did I? I said I wanted the best for the club whether that is SISU winning or not yet some people seem to be struggling with that somehow and translating it as "I think SISU should win as it is best for the club".

No, I didn't say there weren't any. I said where are they, who are they? If we are using new owners as an option we need to know about them don't we?

Or people like to try and twist things. Ever thought that? Especially as I can say person 1 is a plonker which translates to some into person 2 is a lovely man.

I asked where these new owners were. Nothing more and nothing less.

It's hard to post on fans forums amongst pro pr guys.

I just want Sisu to pursue a deal with Wasps that will benefit the club long term.
If they try and fail, then show us the detail and we look at the alternatives.

Do you remember the "there's only one show in town" line about potential owners of the Ricoh How did that work out

That happens a lot Nick.

Yesterday I posted that someone chose to believe the one thing that someone else had posted as it didn't make SISU out to be the villains so that automatically meant that all the other posts made by that poster must have made SISU out to be the villains.

As you well know you won't know about them until the club been available becomes a reality.

That would IMO clearly be the best thing to do for the club.
However for SISU it does not get their investment back so I don't see it happening

I took it by you saying if it helps the club you hope they win- that you think there is a possibility it will be good for the club therefore I am just asking, 'Do you think SISU taking this legal action could be good for CCFC and if so how do you think it may help us?'

Regarding the other one no I wasn't twisting anything you said

'Where are these new owners'

I have said its exactly the same as when people said where are these alternatives to buy ACL. They don't appear until the product is available as you know.

So I will stick with my line new owners for me would probably be the 'best' thing for CCFC.

Ones that can do a long term rent deal including a mutually beneficial working relationship with Wasps.

That for me is the 'best' for CCFC
