SISU have trousered around £0.75m in this transfer window - Assuming fee for Turner was around £1m and money from Dann transfer £0.25m minus McDonald fee of £0.5m. Thats enough to keep us afloat until January when we can sell someone else to complete the funding until the end of the season they promised. I am guessing wages might have decreased a little as well as Turner was probably on a touch more than McDonald is getting. So SISU have the necessary money.

Fans are happy because we have a potentially exciting new striker to partner Juke and the hysterically feared fire sale of assets didn't materialise. Whilst Turner was an asset we have managed without him for best part of a year and if his departure means we survive for another few months then so be it. I am sure Juke is only here because we still owe Everton money on him and any sale would not have generated enough profit to make it worthwhile. Clingan to Leeds was never going to happen as Bates is too busy selling to buy anyone and apparently no one bid for Cranie which is surprising. Just waiting for the SISU spin on the multi million pound bids they turned down.

So overall not too bad a window - mind you our expectations are pretty low these days. I fear real fire sale will be in January.

CT are reporting that no offer came in for Clingan. Do we need to praise Sisu for that?

CT also saying the only reason we didn't sell any further players was down to the fact of the Turner money and the Scott Dann windfall.

So to repeat myself yet again, where is the money KD says had been given by Sisu to buy players in the transfer window?

When did KD say this?

He said it quite clearly in the CWR interview before the Watford game. He said he had been to Sisu and they had agreed some money for transfers and that he hoped that we may be able to secure 1 or 2 players before the end of the transfer window.

Sounds like bull to me and that we had to sell Turner before we could sign anyone.

Otis there is never any point in quoting anything Dulieu says as as soon as any words leave his lips he is contradicting them a couple of minutes later. So he is always able to deny anything he has promised - the man is a totally untrustworthy, condescending bullshit artist of the highest order and I wish SISU showed some balls and got rid of him as a real start of improving relations with the fans.
