Just my take on things but I believe the doomsday scenario could be about to play out.

1. Sisu have escaped liability for the ricoh rent by filling for administration - still likely to get a 10 point deduction once the league have unravelled the tangled web they've wove.

2. As the company in admin isn't the playing side of the club they are entitled to hold a fire sale in the summer by flogging players - the only asset they own.

3. Once the assets have been sold will liquidate the company sending us to non league.

They know their actions have blown any chance of ever getting the ricoh indeed acl would be well within their rights to lock us out. They could sell to a new owner but who would pay them for us in our current predicament - they're effectively daring acl to prove someone wants us - which they don't if they have to pay money for us.

Really think the end is nigh

Admin will not see us get out of the ACL contract - ACL would have to agree to that.

We own Ryton as well as players

Nobody will pay money for our players

Lets just be frank and honest, SISU never have or never will give a rats ass about a Midlands football team, anything that they do will only be to serve the interest of their investors and themselves. They have been thwarted by people with higher morals and a vested interest in the city of Coventry and its sports teams up to this point. It seems they will try anything to redeem their position and if they don't get their way they will sink the ship and jump on the life rafts and look for another boat in distress to hijack !

Agree with Sam. This is an attempt to limit their losses. The legal entities were always set up with this parachute in mind.

Who would pay decent money for any of our players?

i think the football league will be in a difficult place as the only debt is to acl they may view it as a simple row between landlord and tenant, its when players hmrc get involved they seem more intrested

Seems to me they know the game is up. They now control the only thing left of any value - Ryton.
