Of course this is right and what should have happened. There are however two factors in this point - firstly that SISU were incompentent in getting this done, but perhaps more significantly, if SISU had been competent in doing this, would there have been a deal available for them?

I don't think there is enough evidence to suggestions that the other parties had the desire tlh get the deal done with anyone at that moment in time.

When they first came to our club and there was a clean slate no one knew much about them. I'm talking the very start with Igwe & Ransom when there was hope. At that point in time no one had any reason to block a sale of the Higgs Share. No one on either side had been annoyed by the other and relationships were good as far as I remember. If you'd said to the Higgs we want to reunite the club and the stadium would they have said no?

I'm talking about way before then, before rent strikes, court cases, Tim Fisher etc.

If ACL get all the revenues and CCFC own half of ACL then 50% effectively goes to them.
If CCFC pay £1.3M and CCFC own half of ACL then 50% effectively goes to them, surely ?
Goes without saying that CCFC would be better placed to influence changes of their rental etc based on a business case that effects both parties.
Some of you guys are so anti CCC you believe that business practice would go out the window and the CCFC/CCC fight would continue in the boardroom.

No that is totally wrong.

All the revenues go to ACL the club gets none. ACL did not pay out dividends.

The club would have continued to pay £1.3 million.

The owning of 50% would not have influenced any change due to the board structure.

It was a worthless share.

Owning 100% is totally different obviously.

Go back to 2003 and the deal that got us in the Ricoh - as a club we had our pants down. If Higgs truly wanted the club and stadium united then why effectively force us into such a shit deal? I know it wasn't just them in terms of the deal, but the bail out around that time came from them.

So we are supposed to blame someone who helps our club when in need and blame those that don't help our club out?

Then some wonder why there is a lack of help being offered now.

I'm not blaming - but what I am saying is was there a plan for CCFC to buy back this share when they got back on two feet? Did CCFC ever have that opportunity to get that share back?

We are talking here prior to SISU even being here.

The council set ACL up to fail. The £21m lease premium either way was suicide. What did that £21m pay for? It hamstrung ACL and its tenant.

Did they have the money to buy it back before SISU? You can't blame others for this either.

Yes they wanted it to fail - that's evident by the fact they refused to make the lease 250 years from the start which instantly would have raised asset value.

It's funny how sisu are blamed for the Higgs losses but the ones who really screwed them were the council. As soon as wasps turned up "here have the freehold"

Really? Why? Who agrees dividends?

Also the debt wasn't being paid off until the end of the lease was it?

As you know the 21m went towards build costs. And because no money was taken out 1/3 of this was paid off before we went on the rent strike.

What was the buy-back price? Was it the same? Was there a charge/levy/hike in the price?

Too many questions and not nearly enough information.

The council call it the £113m Arena. Are you saying it really cost £134m to construct!? Who would be to blame for such horrendous cost overruns? Why are the council the freeholder when they contributed around £10m but ACL paid twice as much yet only got a 50 year lease! It really demonstrates again the conflict of interest of having West and Yardley on the board of ACL.

I asked who agreed the dividends and yes great so another 25 years before dividends are paid. Not that they would be - figure out why.

I've had enough, spent far to much time worrying, stressing, arguing and generally not
enjoying supporting the club I was raised to support . The people running the club
couldn't give a shit, the council etc couldn't give a shit,
I've a feeling we are entering the end of there tedious, spiteful, vindictive and downright
disgusting game, hope there all very proud of themselves.
So I have made a conscious decision, from now on "although they're few" I will only
focus on the positives, get to the games with my lad and get every little bit of enjoyment
I can out of my team .
Got a feeling we won't have the opportunity soon, so get up the Ricoh and make some
noise.
Play up skyblues.

As supporters we are powerless to have any impact on what happens to our club, just
think we need to get behind them and hope for the best.
If we start well and build some momentum who knows where it could lead, we might be
the saviours of the club , by just doing what we're supposed to do. SUPPORT

The formula price was far more. They paid about £3.5 - £4 million for share capital didn't they?

This argument can just go around and around for eternity!

But quite simply this all goes back to the dumb fucks who sold Highfield Road!

Can we blame SISU for this? NO.
Can we blame CCC for this? NO.
Can we blame Wasps for this? NO.

This all goes back to the people running CCFC at the time and the board, the rest is all just a follow on for the retarded decision to sell off Highfield road.
