I was thinking, why was sisu and fisher talking about liquidation a week before acl threatened administration, yet there were never any talks about relocation? the relocation idea seems to have come as admin became a reality, why?
.. lets try to bone this out...
So sisu is "forced" to put ltd in admin by acl about a week after they threaten to liquidate the club...which means the football league withholds the golden share for the time being until the company comes out of admin.
ACL and sisu states no deal is possible between the two which means sisu are forced to come up with an alternative plan for a homeground as no golden share will be allocated to them without such plan.....and the administrator cannot by law sell ltd to sisu if they don´t have a homeground and a way forward for the club.
Although ACL has opened the door for discussion, SISU cannot put their faith in acl´s hands as a renegging by acl on an eventual deal just days before a football league decision regarding the allocation of the GS or days before a decision by the admin to sell ltd would put sisu in a bad place and without a solid thought out plan of where to play. They simply don´t trust acl or the council and rightly so, as they want sisu out just as much as we do.I guess that´s why they have to seem strong and convincing regarding the relocation plan. They have no other choice and, as we will see, puts them in a strong position.
The return of ACL at the table to discuss a deal tells me they understand they will hold NO cards if/when SISU takes ltd out of admin-sisu can say "we´re moving and you will crumble like a house of cards without us..so sell us the higgs share with the "compass reveneu" or you will go bankrupt". (oddly that´s what sisu were telling acl before admin but instaed of relocation it was liquidation )
If acl knew ltd would change owners there would be no reason for them to approach sisu at this current point or maybe they´re just hedging their bets? But it´s not looking good.
Imagine if in august at the eleventh hour SISU are allowed to buy the higgs share with acceptable matchday revenue and we continue at the ricoh ....with a solid income to the club and owning half of our stadium....dont you think most fans would breathe a sigh of relief?
Would be a masterplan by SISU that could only have been made in hell.
However why would there be so many bidders for ltd if they thought sisu would retain it so easily?
