I was looking at Rushworth's instagram profile and it seems he and his missus still spend a lot of time in and around Halifax, so we're a bit more convenient for that than Brighton is.

If honest, Instagram is why I don't think his "I want to stay, I love it, I'm settled" comments are to try and get a good 1st team deal with Brighton.
I know a little bit about horses, only a little, but one thing I do know is you don't move them around from here to there every few months as it's stressful as fuck and can be lethal. It's just how they are.
His Missus horses are here.

I'm joking as you all know.

BUT..... the premier package crowd will have paid less into the club than some others, when they buy their ST next season.

So maybe they should get a few more loyalty points instead of not giving any to the premier package crowd.

It can be. My wife moved her horse to another livery yard & he didn't settle & ended up with 2 further moves until he did. Different surroundings, horses and times they are in or out and whether they can see other horses all can have an effect and they also pick up any anxiety from owners and people who deal with them.

The Rushworth situation if Brighton decide their current keeper is their number 1 and they move Rushworth on .We don't always have to be top bid it has to be someone that he want to go to(better the devil you know) it would come down to how much any competitor is willing to pay him.Think we would be in with a great chance.
Enjoy the ride

Most move around all the time - the yard the horse we are referring to is at a yard where they go all over to compete at small events. When you buy horses they normally move - two of ours came from the same village in wales purely by co-incidence

He will be Englands number 1 so if tinpot Everton can keep Pickford there’s no reason if he does come to us he can still play for England

Dougs rattled the Spackems again. They totally don't care about us though!
I've kind of missed those freaks in a way.

I have just read the article and Andy Turner has done him up like a kipper to be fair

Painting it out like Doug already thinks we have been promoted, when he couldn't say in the CWR interview enough there is plenty of football to be played - Mentioning Sunderland in the headline as he knows that lot will whip themselves up into a frenzy and it will get him clicks

Dirty trick imo

I’d love us to get Rushworth but I can’t see it happening.

If the rumours are true that Verbruggen is off for £50 million then I reckon Brighton will want to keep him. The only tiny chink of light is that he has little if any experience in the Premier League and they might think it a bit of a gamble but that’s probably clutching at straws.

Also, the player himself has said that he will consider his options in the summer if his future doesn’t lie with Brighton. He will attract plenty of interest.

Our best chance might be to get him on a deal that means we are obliged to sell him if we are relegated and an offer of at least £x is received. The truth, much as it grieves me to say it, is that his medium and long term - and possibly short term - future lies with bigger clubs than us. He is a very fine goalkeeper and I wish him all the best. If we can’t keep him, I will forever remember him for the huge part that he played in us getting promotion.

We will probably buy one or two who have a good World Cup and then immediately sell them on to Real Madrid, before they have played for us, for a profit.

Rushworth was born there. Presumably his partner is based there too.
