Doug will need to be really careful how this is priced next season. No real Category A games to whet the appetite. Lost Blues, Leicester and probably Leeds. WBA the only semi 'derby'.

Personally think he should do away with categories and make every game the same whoever it is and whatever day as so many move.

What would you suggest? £30 adult £15 kids is what I'd assume. Still too much of course, but can't see it lower than that.

Makes the season ticket great value again regardless, but we will still need a walk up to fill the gaps.

If Leeds somehow manage to mess up the playoffs, we should at the very least have a Category L ticket at £47.

How many games were in each category last season? If they go for a one price for all games approach I can't see them setting it as low as £30.

Flat rate would be £31-32 if in line with last year’s prices

If I was him I’d stick with this years category pricing but hold back the last 4/5 games and set later on.

Prices were a joke last season. The problem is, our crowds for most of the £37 matches were so high.

The potential reason for charging the likes of Leeds, Sunderland and West Brom £37 was the away fans bringing 4500+. That's not the case this year.

A £32 CAT A game would fill the stadium every time we play Sunderland, West Brom, Sheffield Wednesday etc.

We now have 28,000 home seats to fill. It will be tough to fill them on a midweek/televised game at £37.

First home game of the season, Boxing Day/New Years Day fixture, Easter bank holiday fixture, last home game of the season.

There’s 4 of your Category A games without even thinking about who we’ll play in them.

To Doug yes, to the working people pay £37/£38 for a Monday night game against West Brom, no.

Some huge crowds at £37, some disappointing ones.

Sunderland 25,000. They didn't sell out the away end which is rare for them.

West Brom 23,900.

Birmingham 26,700 (with 4000 of them).

I'd be interested to know what those crowds above would be if we charged £32 for an adult and £15 for a kid. West Brom and Sunderland would have probably sold out.

If he hated concession prices, would he charge £300 for an adult and a kid in the Family Zone?

Generally, he's concession prices are awful though.

It was moved for TV so priced as if it was a Saturday game. And there's no way we would've sold 6,000 extra tickets if it was a fiver cheaper lol

It's not a fiver cheaper if kids are at least a tenner cheaper.

£37 for a Championship game is shite. £25 for a young kid is awful.

It's not just the fiver. Kids prices were £25 which is honestly disgusting.

Our kids Matchday pricing is shit though.

If West Brom on a Monday night was £25, I think we could sell out.

Hopefully with the new TV regulations, we can plan in advanced for these TV games.

Given that even some meaningless Cat A games had big sales prices won't be going down. Hopefully, as ST were frozen so will matchday prices, but I bet he's very tempted to push it to nearer £40.

They have but Birmingham and West Brom were poor crowds (I know they were moved to Friday and Monday). We only had about 22,500 home fans against Birmingham.

Doug keeps talking of filling the seats. I'm not convinced they will.

If Leeds go up, who realistically should warrant a £40 ticket? Wednesday? West Brom?

I won't even consider buying one until I see the full fixture list. Due to my job I can't attend Tuesday or Wednesday evenings so if there's only 10 or so home matches on a Saturday for the whole season thanks to Sky then there's little point in buying a season ticket.

Be interesting to see the schedule.

I don't think there will be more Tuesday/Wednesday games (cup exploits excluded).

Just less traditional 3PM kick offs.

Look forward to Friday evening, early and late Saturday and Sunday, and the worst of all, Monday nights.
