Best Home Section in the division , possibly In the football league .

Have been to almost every single stadium in the championship , league 1 and 2 and have yet to see a better home section of supporters than that in block 14-17 at the CBS this season .

It's an away end in a home end , sensational support

We had 3 fans move over to block 16 from behind the goal .

They were so happy with themselves , like they'd just snuck into the dortmund wall but it didn't let them down , the atmosphere was immense and they go home buzzing

I'm not getting into the whole d*ck measuring contest but we've been brilliant in that corner. Even the games when its been a little subpar, its still been better than I can remember at the Ricoh.

I really do think that the crowd has played its part in the results we've had.

Two lads, who I presume had never been up there (or at least I didn't recognise their faces) got ceremoniously removed from there after making one too many comments to a few of the regulars up there. Two stewards had to come and escort them away before someone knocked 10 bells out of them.

I'm too old for all that now, so I'm in block 30, but massive credit for Singer's Corner, especially Lyndon the drummer, who have created an incredible atmosphere - which in turn has filtered throughout the ground.

Where does it stop ? I always assumed 17 but happy to be corrected, it's definitely getting further down the stadium at the top of the stands

I was about 5 seats away and I genuinely have no idea. The older one said something to someone, they didn't like it, had a bit of a scrap and then they got removed!

If those in singers corner play the game, behave and didn’t go on the pitch etc. I reckon they might extend and open blocks 13 & 12. The gap today between the supporters was too big.

Depends if you refer to Singers Corner as the entire block or just the upper half really.

I think if we progress any further this might end up being an actual problem. We have more fans now that want to be in the atmosphere than seats that will take them.

It is banging in there. I'm in 15 but just over the steps from 14. I moved there from just over the steps from 16 because the atmosphere was a bit shite last season we were there. If it is actually making its way round to 17 that would be amazing.

The gap between supporters there is about three rows of seats and not brilliantly stewarded probably opposite to what we do at the CBS.

Actually the only ground I've been to this season where the home fans made some decent noise.

They couldn't work it out when we were 4-0 down getting battered and wouldn't stop singing twist and shout though.

I was up there today too.
SU fans loud in first 10. Was interested to see how our lot were from that side with 4.5k away fans in-between - and they did not dissapoint! OHare song probably loudest one. Really good sound, more than likely helped by performance.

On a rather more dissapointing note, there was some embarrassing behaviour from some of our "fans" up there.
A couple of SU fans stood and applauded their goal - nothing ridiculous and fine, corporate seating etc.... but when we equalised, a group of 6/7 diots ran accross a block from their box and surrounded the two SU fans, abusing, getting in their face etc.
Embarrassing and neanderthal like behaviour- and when I asked what they thought they were doing and pointed out their embarrassing behaviour, their reaction... one of me (plus my 72 year old dad!) a few of them, was equally embarrassing!
Just don't get it!!....

I've never been a fan of the arena but it has been electric this season. The place is really what you make of it.

Evo.... this has been covered before- WT is a bit of a folktale/myth... been in it as a St holder and spent time observing from East stand. Only held 2k. Acoustics poor - open and could sometimes barely hear from the East stand.
CBS like it is currently is miles better!!!!

Yep, west end was loud when you were in it, otherwise quiet. the Ricoh Arena was rubbish, except for the big matches, but the CBS is a much better stadium

No matter how loud you thought it was in the old West End and often it was it wasn’t very audible from other end of the ground.

On the CWR commentary, the crowd sounds much louder than it ever did at the Ricoh or even Highfield Rd historically. The O'Hare song was so loud and clear.

My ST is in 15 and The atmosphere this season has been immense. I went with my dad today so sat in block 22 - and even from there you could hear the corner loud and proud

It's always been good.

Even in League 2 when there were only a few hundred in the corner, the fans kept going. Now it's packed again and it's bouncing.

Boro and Swansea only two away trips with comparable noise. However, both of those had one section and the rest of the stadium was remarkably quiet. The great thing this season has been the effort from the rest of the ground. Certainly carries better.

I remember when people thought the atmosphere at our games in Birmingham was good. It really wasn't. It was silent for 80% of the game with the odd loud song.

Other thing to note is that the behaviour of fans up there has been remarkably better since the Derby game. Still some idiots throwing stuff and the one or two who ran on the pitch in recent games but beyond that, better.

Derby - General decent fans at home.
West Brom - toxic and now half empty.
Birmingham fans - Been rubbish for the last 4/5 years. Half open stadium.
Fulham - Eating cheeseboards.
Stoke - Gone down hill from their PL days.
