That's why you want to get to the Prem. Not only do you get the ridiculous parachute payments if you go down but anyone who scores about 3 goals and makes a couple of dribbles is worth £30 million plus. You shouldn't fail when you come back down really.

Yes in one of the worst PL sides of all time.

He scored 14 last year and Newcastle had a £55m bid rejected in the summer. Surely they'd have been in for Wright or Simms at ~£15m if they were better. Maybe even get both for less than one Larsen!

Larsen has scored one goal in 1379 minutes this season. And that was a penalty. We would need to change our style of play completely if we had Larsen. (I'm not saying we shouldn't - but if he turned up tomorrow - he'd doesn't really fit)

Ayari was poor for us. Maybe he's not suited to the Championship - but its difficult to forget how ineffective he was.

How many goals do we think Larsen gets in the Championship if he stayed with Wolves?

clueless! Larsen would absolutely stroll into our team, and Ayari had quality when he was with us, you could absolutely see that, but for one reason or another he wasn’t played that often

I think MR should have been braver and played him more. But we still did well when he left so I get it but I wonder what we could have done e had we persisted with him. He's clearly very talented

Ayari couldn't get into our team two seasons ago as a 19/20 year old. He now plays regularly for a decent mid-table PL club. So would he get into our team now - of course he would.

Do I think he'd be less suited to the football in this league - yes, but he'd still be good enough to get in our team.

Do I think he's worth the alleged bid - no, but then I think all football fees and wages are utterly ridiculous and given the going rate of players it's sadly probably about right, as much as I disagree with it.
