25 players on loan in his 100 games in charge.

Imagine if he actually liked loan players !

If your suggesting what I think your suggesting - I could not agree more. With about 4 notable exceptions from that list our recruitment has been nothing short of embarrassing. If we did not have such a good group of academy players over the last few seasons we would be seriously struggling.

what choice did SP have!

who was available
at what point did he did he get the green light to talk to any players
how many players turned us down
how many clubs turned us down as the deal was not suitable for them or there player

nobody really know's the answer to these questions

All i know we had the makings of a cracking team and manager last season, and all the players have gone and the manager is still here

No scouts, everything done in a rush to get a few players in before points deductions or embargoes initially. Then last season we were short on body's and had to take a risk on one or two. The good thing is, all the shit of that list have all been kicked out. We are a league one club, we have a decent stadium (play in a decent stadium) which helps to attract some players. Last year when more than 1/2 of those players were signed we did not have the draw of the Ricoh.

yes, shows how the club is constantly looking for bodies to fill holes at the last minute. We may as well be signing Bodgit and Fudgit. What has been illustrated here, is the current financial policy of the club rather than the policy of the manager.

We cant afford Fudgit, but talk is that Bodgit has a choice of 4 clubs to come to, but looks like he might come to us to sit on the bench for 4 weeks then go back to Staleybridge Town

It's no wonder that the club shop has no shirts to sell they have to hold them back for this weeks new loan signing.
