Frank Lampard - we really need a CM, LB, CB and RB

Dean Austin - yea but what about another winger we dont have enough of those

Frank Lampard - no ta mate, I already have Sakamoto, Haji and EMC back for the next home league game and that Raphael Chap you brought in in the summer

Dean Austin - really think a winger is what's needed to sort this squad out though

Thomas plays can play in multiple positions on both sides of the field even up top. I thought we should of gone for him in the summer. Adds energy, pace and has a bit of arrogance about him. Nice pick up if true.

tbh we do need a RW, be good as long as we get other positions too

There's backup and then there's backup that you would be prepared to play. No cover for RB and no playable backup for LB and RW

Maybe in the minority, but not enthused by Sorba Thomas at all. A player who thinks he’s much better than he is. Remember seeing him at CBS as well as on tele and don’t get the hype around him at all.

Ideal world, you get one CB in, one RB, One RW and One CM.

If we manage Rob holding (loan to buy) and Sobra Thomas (Perm), that’s a good start imo

Summer would look into LB as well as positions that leave. Obviously if a dream LB comes up but it’s a hard window

If you actually watch Bidwell closely during a match he’s very limited. He switches off at the back post when defending crosses, his distribution from deep positions is poor and predictable and his crossing is sometimes fabulous and sometimes awful. He does give it his all, and seems a good guy, but he’s quiet and not captain material.

We need experienced players who talk younger players through matches.

I can see why you think that but I don’t. Some of them are decent players at this level and have proved it. Some aren’t but we are lacking leaders - in-game leaders. A couple of tidy additions and we’ll see a difference. Then results change and confidence lifts.
I don’t think a whole new squad is required.

Sorba Thomas is well known for being a bellend as well so he will fit right in with the players here. Not sure he would be one I’d be looking at if Dr.Claire and the team are trying to bring in the right ‘mentality’ of player.

Yes, in my memory it was from outside the box - on his debut.

Other odd memory from that game was that Val Thomas (Danny’s brother) was our sub. Don’t think I saw him at any other time.

Tavares I'm not suprised with, will be interesting to see who is interested in Lati, I reckon he ends up with big Dennis in the US.

He might be doing that as there aren't the players out there. I'm expext most of the dealing would be done in the summer and we spend some money and get rid of our unwanted baggage

According to this graph, Holding looks to be a physical right footed centre back, good in the air, strong, but can't pass.

A winger does actually make sense, especially if Wright will play upfront upon his return. Just not as a priority.
