I thought this would be a significant day.

It started off for me with Richard keys saying sisu are putting the club into liquidation and the Hoff offer is still on the table.

I then read a very convincing piece in CET from Fisher. About next season all very positive a budget to bounce back AT in charge. Keogh leading the team etc.... It seemed like a bit of honesty for once. Players out of contract will go. We made mistakes. No offers on the table

Strange I think. Keys would not lie. He loves cov. I don't believe the rubbish about him needing publicity he has it. He confirms it all on the radio. If it is not true sisu can sue him. He would not lie on a national radio.

I have seen keys on the telly for years he is a cov fan. I know nothing about Mr fisher other than he represents a firm I do not trust to tell me the truth.
One side is lying my gut instinct tells me Mr Fisher.

I am just about to go to work. Then it is confirmed by coventry city council SISU are threatening to put the club into liquidation.

Mr fisher has just lied to us all. SISU have lied again. Mr keys as expected was telling the truth.

I go to work thinking this is a significant day. Mr fisher and sisu exposed as liars. Cov fans will surely now demand action.

I came home expecting this forum to be full of it. Yet all I find is a debate on whether people know Richard keys or not and whether he is a knob or not. WTF.

SISU will be put to shame on Saturday, by Sky Blues and Saints alike; and there will be nowhere for them to hide.

I agree. I am baffled by the lack of interest in the pending liquidation situation. Lets see what tomorrow brings. .. I think some poeole just can not be bothered at this moment in time.

Lots of Saints fans sympathetic to the cause-with the proviso we roll over; I honestly don't get what they're worried about!

Councillor John Mutton
"At the moment, there seems to be more threats than negotiation – the threat to put the club into liquidation. It really is time for Sisu to realise Coventry doesn’t bow at the knee to threats.”

That sounds more like it. Even if saints agreed to do it once. A complete unified round of sisu out would get some attention. Both clubs uniting would interest the media. The media would be there for saints anyway. Do you think we can get them to do it.

Now I know Mutton and Keys are on the case I am reassured - what with the astute and shrewd politician and everyone's favourite pundit (well Andy Grey's anyway) what can go wrong.

And I'm sure they would be similarly impressed with your input if you ever dared to raise your head above the parapet on a public forum with your words of wisdom.

Does this mean that Fisher has told ACL/Council that SISU will put CCFC into liquidation if they dont lower the rent.Or was John Mutton reacting to Richard Keys tweet as a fan of the club for 57 years?

My understanding is Councillor Mutton is saying SISU are threatening to put the club into liquidation in the talks they are having with ACL.

He is saying they have to understand that the council will not bow to blackmail.

"Then it is confirmed by coventry city council"

And this makes it fact? Listen to gossip all you want.

So who would you prefer to believe? Cov council and Keys or SISU who have not paid the rent for last month, have had us put in a transfer embago, have not guaranteed funding for next season and lied to us more times than we can count?

Who's to say the Council/mutton didn't just read about the liquidation on here/twitter/another forum, or even was contacted by CET and asked for a comment about it?

The ACL man didn't mention it and talked about Ccfc being important partners going forward, have continued long term relationship, etc...was he also lying ?

I'm not saying keys is lying but he has said on a number of occasions in the past, "all be done in 10 days", etc and nothing has happened.

The council read the article. Mutton says it has not been negotiations more like threats.
