Burton have had a wobble, but they are still top. They have also won 3 of their last 7 games, so not the fall away people were talking of.

They are still 4 points clear of 2nd and 13 clear of 7th.

Yeah let's get O'Driscoll in it worked a treat for wallsall, there is no guarantee changing Mowbray will change our results.

It will turn around as inevitably things do. The problem is when. At the moment we are losing ground with each game and making it harder to recover for a play off place. It does sound like we had a better performance with half the possession and more shots than them but we have lost.

Burton, last 7 games, won 3, drawn 2 lost 2.

Not bad at all and they have maintained top place.

So many on here were saying they would drop out and end up in the play-offs didn't they!

We have too many quality players at this level for this form to continue till the end of the season, not saying we will go on a great run like Barnsley have but it will level out at some point and get a couple of results.

Football isn't always logical, Barnsley lost about 9 on the spin earlier in the season, stuck with the same manager and put together a great run of results and then the manager was poached away by Bristol City.

I don't get this short-term blinkers that most City fans seem to have. Going back to preseason - I would have taken this position at this stage of the season, and so would have many City fans. Yet, the early success has gone to heads and anything lower than 6th is now grounds for dismissal. Have people forgotten so quickly all the relegation fights we've had to suffer?

But I'm not making excuses for poor performances.
