Just wanted to come back and say good luck for the coming season ahead! When walking into the ground yesterday, a couple of your supporters complimented our ground in saying it was 'set in nice surroundings'. And complimented our chairman and that we're a well run club, as well as saying that we own everything which is very good.

I must admit though, that I never expected us to end up 4-1 winners! As I said yesterday, I thought if we did win, then it would only be by 1 goal.

I did like to the look of your right back, your number 2. Very pacy player. Not sure about your number 16 though, don't know his name?

But, as I said at the start of this thread, good luck for the rest of the season. I hope you do well and Mark Robins is a successful manager at your club. :claping hands:

Thanks mate.

We're hoping having a new manager will mean they actually care now.

From your point of view - it must have been evident at the unrest in the team and in the stands about the club at the moment. I think most city fans thought that our performance lacked in every department, but most disappointing was the lack of pride and passion shown by anyone and that they all looked scared to even be out there.

Did that come across to you?

Weird thing is, even though we were so bad, 3 goals were awful errors by us (murphy dropping it, edge penalty, wood miss clearance) and the other a deflected free kick.

Thats not to take anything away from you. You looked a threat on every attack, and we were just pitiful.

Shrewfan, cheers. You were well worth the win. Simple, direct. Taught us a few lessons. Your central defenders won everything, kept it simple. Your ground & setting is brilliant. To be honest I wish we played in something similar - if a tiny bit bigger.
Good luck for rest of season, no reason why you can't be up the top end.
Found your fans really friendly.

Actually me and my mate were talking about the ground. First 'new' ground i've been to that felt like an old one!

4 stands, no filled in corners. If it was a bit tighter it'd be even better. I wish we'd built something like that, although as Snoz says, a bit bigger.

Yeah top place I was in with a mate who is a Shrews fan and result aside has a great evening. Although I got in on his Doris's season and I hasten to add I only look like Loretta at the weekends.
