Been asked by my friends to invite anyone who's interested to The Swan pub in Ironbridge for a beer stop off ahead of the shrews game. Owners Carol & Paul would welcome individuals or coaches (there's a coach and car park opposite) and put on a buffet (or bacon/sausage batches) and do drink specials for any City fans travelling, just need to give idea's on numbers.
Since Shrews moved to their new stadium, Ironbridge has become a stop off point for away fans to stop for a few drinks before games. It's 20 min drive from pub to ground. There are several real ale and heritage pubs along river Severn main strip of which the Swan is in the middle!

Popular place for away fans going to the new meadow just lately. Good place for a piss up ironbridge. Loads of boozers & cafe bars all next to each other.
If you get off the m54 at Telford and head into ironbridge you'll also avoid the roadworks. They're a nightmare right now.
Defo good shout that as there's not much near the ground.
