Just seen on the other thread that Shrewsbury Away is looking like a sellout (tickets still available from both clubs so you can still go whatever your persuasion).

This is a real opportunity for City fans to have a cohesive, supportive message. I'd like to see some leadership from the trust on a message that both camps can get behind.

It's going to be my first game this season and regardless of crap on message boards, I'm just looking forward to supporting my team and the SBA being one again.

What do people think? chance for some hatchets to be buried? Chance get a cohesive message across to the board/FL/CCC/the world? Or more chance of trouble due to plastic NOPMers like myself in 3 blocks and TrueSkyBluesers in the other two?

It's going to be the biggest City turnout home or away so far, what should be done with it?

The trust should be dissolved and started again. They have handled the situation poorly and have done nothing by trying to unite fans

Right thread?

Anyway, what you're describing is how the current Trust was formed.

As you're obviously not happy with the message (KCIC) being put out then would you mind answering OP and telling us what the message should be?

I think the Trust are in tune with 90% of the fans because thats how many are not going. Now of course that could be luck, and by the way how do you unite fans in a situation like this? Simple you cant

Not a dig at you shmmeee but had you of been to any of the Away Games this season so far (Albeit there has only been 3) there has been really good voice and presence from the Sky Blue Army, okay it's not been Sellout's or whatever but the SBA have been great.

We have also been sending a message to SISU for quite a few years now, however it doesn't seem to have sunk into them yet.

Sorry couldnt read past "leadership from the trust" I have no argument for the KCIC campaign, however there is not an ounce of creativity between any of them. ITs obvious now after a couple of months that their current approach is not working and so far the trust have failed in even suggesting any other ideas. They havent shown any leadership throughout this and while us supporters have been dividing daily they have failed to show any interest in uniting us. They have seemed to wither away.

Other than that, Shrewsbury will be a good day out I envision a good CCFC atmosphere with good old anti sisu chanting. PUSB

No I haven't mate an that's kind of my point. The previous games were quite far away or JPT games. This will be the first IMO with a large contingent of NOPM as well as the usually outstanding regular away fans.

I appreciate what you're saying, believe me I've had my frustrations with the Trust.

Without wanting to sound snarky, if we can't come up with a better strategy ourselves, who are we to judge?

Edit: personally I thought the tie a sky blue ribbon campaign was perfect. Positive, visual, no agenda other than KCIC. That's the kind of thing I'm taking about.

Something like an inflatable day but related to the cause. As I said I don't know what.

Yes i agree we shouldnt judge, however their first objective should be to unite fans and have a 10,000 strong contingent all singing from the same hymn sheet. 10,000 people have a much stronger voice than 2 sets of 5000. their medium term objective should be to announce fans forums set up by the trust to gather ideas on how to move forward which everyone is satisfied with. Things could me marketed properly (the NOPM campaign was marketed all wrong I think) across the board there are CCFC who are experts across many fields. Their long term objective should be to implement these agreed new ideas. I should run the trust haha :guitar2:

It has proved that by having no agenda like the March then people get behind it.

I understand that shmmeee but like I said there has been a clear message of discouragement from the fans who have attended of course more fans attending Shrewsbury the better, but I don't think we need a new thread asking for suggestions on a message..

Appreciate that. I hope you're right and the atmosphere will continue as it has.

I don't that that precludes positive action on keeping the message positive though.
