Should we wait and hold off to the end of season as mooted by Thorn in post match interview or get Di.Mateo asap? After all, rumour says he wants it and rumour suggest he is liked by the board and lives in Leamington. Is it a no brainer?

My opinion is yes. Get him in to work with Thorn (who tore up AB's tactics book) and get rid of Harrison who must surely also be complicit for the way we played under AB?

Lets face it rather have Di.Mateo than Allardyce and be back where we started with long ball tactics. Di Mateo gets the chance to bed in before the season's end and see who he wants to keep and which deadwood he will let go.

I really don't haveconfidence already in the new gy we bring in. If we do.

I would much rather have Thorn in charge and have him have a go at getting us promoted.

Ther's two people at the club I have trust in and that's Thorn and Westwood. I wouldn't have any other keeper in the world IMO.

What makes you trust Thorn after one game in charge though?

I would like to see some fluid football which I think be would get us playing!

How can you lack confidence in a completely hypothetical person?

I think the best idea is to keep Thorn in till the end of the season; bringing someone in who doesn't know the team with 9 games to go wouldn't make sense. Give Thorn a shot to prove himself- if he does an outstanding job maybe he should get it full time, if not then we can look at who's available in the summer.

We have to keep him till the end of the season. Any new manager would need time to bed in etc, Thorn knows the players and what makes them tick.. and DiMatteo um no, he got lucky with WBA

In what way did Di Matteo get lucky with WBA, a team who deservedly were promoted?

With a healthy bank balance and players with prem experience, same as Coleman/Fulham Hughton/Newcastle.

With no restrictions and players of better quality even average managers can have success. What we need is a pure coach who genuinely can improve and manage. Having a big name doesn't guarantee that. Look at Burnley, Reading, Watford, Norwich, all got 'unfashionable' managers who made themselves a success without a reputation.

I think Thorn will be given the job until the end of the season. The next manager should be getting his idea's together on who he wants to get in on what budget he has and how to solve Coventry problem of not achieving something in the past..god knows how many years.

The only and best action is to get a new manager in as soon as possible.... A realistic one at that, no one deserves the right to manage Coventry just because they have been a big name and not achieved much.

It could be Thorn for the job.... or anyone for that matter but give them the perm position right now. But echoing Pigeons words we need a problem solver.
