We all know he has not had a great season ,, but seeing as there is nothing left to play for do you think he should get one last hurrah ..possibly his final ever home game for cov.. And love him or hate him would be good to give him the chance to sign off with a goal..

Personally would love to see him go out with a goal

'Not had a great season' has to be the understatement of the year.

That and 'Margaret Thatcher polarised opinion!'

If I am honest he has cost me a bloody fortune in first goalscorer bets and just want to give the bookies another £20

We've looked worse without him, even though he was playing crap....

Well he is 59635459 times better than what Moussa is on the left... (At Crawley he had a mare!)

A left midfielder is the main priority in the summer.
McSheff should be let go, massively underachieved since his return to the club.

Well, that's it in a nutshell. He's been crap but been pretty much the only choice for that left sided slot.

McSheffrey has had so many mares on the wing, I've lost count!

McSheffrey is getting a new deal, albeit on reduced terms. Spoke to his brother Danny during the week

I think he will play today, don't think he should be based on previous performances, but I think SP will play Baker and Sheff as the experienced players with Conor and Daniels in the middle with Fleck/Moussa playing just behind Wilson. Although I wouldn't be surprised if we went 4-4-2 today and just mixed it up a bit with Sheff playing further forward or Cody getting one of these "look ins before the end of the season"

I'd say no simply because I don't want another afternoon ruined by the twats that entirely loath him and won't acknowledge if he does do something good. He has had a poor season, but there have still been games where he's done well. But once the fans shattered his confidence, he went to pieces and was dreadful. It's probably best for all parties if we move on, although I'd love him to start, have a blinder, and get his City career back on track.

No genuine mate. My brother used to play at Cov Sphinx (now at Barwell) under Danny McSheffrey and used to watch him a fair bit so knew a few of the lads well. Not sure how long the deal is or any details but was just told he will still be a Cov player next season.

I find this really hard to believe given that he was mooted for a comeback today and still didn't get a game, not even as sub when we were 1 down.

He's been carrying an injury. Due to have an operation at the end of the season.
