One thing I'm sure we'd all miss is the game rarely being called off . must have a great record for getting games on .

I think I'm in the minority but if the Ricoh was actually our home, that we owned I'd be quite happy. Whenever I've took non-Cov supporting mates to home games they've always been blown away by the stadium considering our position.

I love the Casino, the hotel is handy considering I don't live in the area and probably stay there 8-10 times a season.

I'd love to rip those bloody wasps signs down, make ours bigger, reinstate a new club shop at the stadium and call the Ricoh home.

Yes.
When our glorious leaders/owners take us back to the Premier league we will need a bigger stadium.
It will need a 50,000 capacity.

Also when I win the Euromillions and buy the club and stadium remind me to tell "Ricoh" to piss off. City Of Coventry Arena for me

Well the Memorial Park is not best for drainage at the best of times.

CCFC certainly need to have a share in the complex... hopefully, IF new owners take over.

Think if we moved permanently to the butts (or something similar) it would effectively
Put an end too any aspirations we might have of returning to the big time.
The Ricoh by any measurement is a fine stadium, if we owned it and had owners who
Were determined to have a club fit to grace it, I think we'd all be happy.

Ricoh is a great stadium. Good views from everywhere in the ground, and plenty around and about.
Pity our greedy devious owners would not pay a knock down price for it, preferring instead to attempt
to bankrupt the company running it and get it for nothing.
Good business strategy SISU you did good.

I do not want to play in the Coc arena.

Rather it was the Jaguar Arena.

I would think we've all got a right too be angry about that, and I think most know
Exactly where to direct their anger.

I know must be very hard for you when that's the only thing that you can get really angry about well until the next thing you get angry about that is

Ah, one of those who's to blame for the stadium things.

There's a game starting soon, let's focus attention to that

Plus, without saying where the move is to it's a pointless question isn't it? how can somebody say they would never move without knowing where to.

Tbh...I think this is a pointless thread.
Unless our owners cozy up to Wasps...we won't be able to play there anyway!

It should be home but it isn't thanks to a strategic mistake from sisu. Personally believe we need our own ground that is big enough to meet the club's aspirations: if that is l2 then Butts would be fine but if we can make the championship or premier then it just is not big enough.
I'm still hoping fishers promise of a new build, new ground will be honoured...but we all know that ain't gonna happen. So Ricoh it is ...and therefore sisu have to rethink their legal strategy.

I'm personally not a fan of the Ricoh, or very few new stadiums for that matter. I find the bowl design so boring and they all seem to be built, like the Ricoh, in some industrial/retail centre so miss all the pubs/chippys etc that come with a traditional ground.

I'm 180 miles away Nick, upto this season used to make 20 to 30 games a season,
This season I've been to one, no way can I justify the cost and time it takes the way
Things are.
If it was on my doorstep I'd probably still go though.

No better than any other modern era stadium with undersoil heating I suspect.
But none of that matters as we will not be allowed to play there anyway soon

If Ccfc go down, and crowds get significantly smaller can they afford to stay?
