At this rate, you can add Rose to that list. He was only 1 of the 2 new signings who only signed 2 year deals. Everyone else signed 3.

Shipley deserves his new deal, took him sometime to adapt to league one but fully justifies his place in the starting line up.

What does everyone reckon, around 2,5-3k a week would be my guess.

Shipley has earned that contract extension, a no fuss player who does a job for the team wherever he’s asked to play, he is still improving, and will be a key member of the team this season.

Decent squad player but nothing more.
As soon as Allen is fit he will and should be on the bench.
As much as I like his passion, we will not get promoted with him as a regular starter in midfield.

I’ll await the backlash.

That's a very precise number for a guess unless you know more. I'd suspect it's quite close, but surprised only 2021 and would assume a 3rd year option, although not sute in player or club's favour. Whatever the truth, it has to be an improvement on the pittance of the current one. Many lads coming through not on anything like the numbers often guessed on here. It's a great career, but they need to maximise every penny from it if not EPL or top half of championship and the vlub doesn't from my understanding reward our own in the way you need to pay for an external signing.

If you mean game time, then yes. Of course nowhere near 10 bags though
