Police say nothing around ground for away fans. Yellow tram is 22min ride setting off every 12 mins.

so where is anyone thinking for a pre match bite and pint?

We usually start at The Howard which is opposite the train station and then call in a couple of pubs towards West Street where we get the tram. Its about a 15-min walk if you don't call into the pubs on route.

There was a nice pub last year you head up the road past the railway and past the new pub on the left, you turn down a side street and it's there.

Home pub but no one gave a fig there was a few cov in there

Heading up on the coach so will have to head somewhere and back. Nearer the better

New Bridge Inn was decent last year, on the A61 about 10-15 minute walk from the ground.

New Barrack Tavern has been decent in the past as well, that's also on the A61 nearer the centre of the Hillsborough district.

Was the New Inn Bridge not home only? it had a couple of coppers outside diverting cov fans to the pheasant round the corner

Could we not have a pinned thread about away friendly pubs for all away games?
New Barracks is mentioned every year for example (and has been fine whenever I've been)

Was fine getting in there on the Friday night cup game. Plenty of Cov in there. Might be different on Saturdays.

Loads of pubs in the city centre then get a yellow tram from West St

West St is brilliant after the game as well. Last time I was in Sheffield Molly Malone's on West St as rammed and buzzing like a nightclub at about 6pm!

Last time my dad and I did Kelham Island Tavern then got the tram and did the Pangolin (craft beer bar) before going to the ground. Sheffield's a great sesh!
