Really would like another striker in tbh. Get the right one and we'll be unstoppable.

Ben sheaf proved today he’s one of if not the best centre d midfielder in this division

sloppy couple of passes but he ran the game for the most

Was gonna say I didn't see a single touch with his feet apart from his pass back shot.

Yea Palmer indicated something earlier in the game too, but definitely made the issue clear this time. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from them.

Played really well today even the sloppy passes were further up the pitch and didn't cause much trouble.

A fairly ugly win but they all count.

Ref shite.

Godden complete passenger as usual. He is so lost in that role in this formation. I don’t understand why Robins keeps picking him. He’s not fast, not tall, not strong. What does he offer?

He was excellent for 70 last week

It’s like if we rest Thomas and kitch as an example

you’ve got Joel and binks to come in

great depth

Gave one away that nearly lead to them getting in

TBF to him his movement was good, he was very isolated for most of the game. Still got a decent effort in just before he came off.

When you think about it the player you'd prefer to bring on against tired opposition is Simms not Godden so I guess that's why it happened.

Best dirty win of the season! Not playing your best! Saka & van earwig marked out the game and we still get the win, sign off a good side

Of course, ideally a forward that can play on either side of the front 3.

Spot on

He's just one of these players that is loved for league 1 though so some fans will defend him no matter what. It's been happening since pre season

I agree to an extent, but last week he was offering to feet, taking it into his chest, holding it up. Not as good as Simms can but he was a platform to play off. Today seemed like he was running away from the ball all the time.

It's not as though they haven got black players? It is such childish behavior from adults. Complete lack of intelligence.

Those are the type of 3 point that get you into the top 6 at the end of the season, so I’m pleased to see that side of our game - ability to score a poachers goal and win a game with a moment of brilliance.

Wednesday set up well, they did a good as any I’ve seen recently at stifling our right hand side. O’Hare was also kept relatively quiet by how they setup

What an insane thing to write about a player who's just allegedly received racist abuse.

I wouldn't go that far. Lati and Torp yes, probably Allen, Binks, Simms will come in. Fancy us to win still.

Definitely need another winger. Sakamoto looked knackered and being on a yellow card, we needed options to come on. Tavares could have done so but has a lot of rebuilding to do.
Think I would have brought Allen on earlier. That pitch was going to be taxing.
Sheaf and Eccles are looking a very good midfield partnership now.

Hate it when people start all this "embarrassment to his colour" stuff.

Kasey, like all of us, is an individual human being. Not a colour.

Game management was brilliant, they made it scuffy but we stopped any momentum. We are a young side but are getting better.

Say what you like about Palmer’s performance but fucking good on him for not quietly taking that kind of vile shit from morons in the crowd and instead going out of his way to make sure it was reported to the ref and the stewards. No room for that kind of crap in the game.
