No, nothing official. Think we are waiting for @Saddlebrains to confirm.

What has Bannon done? Did the ring finally finish him off?

We've won matches playing 433 incl. away at Millwall when Collins was in goal. Why does playing that system mean we'll lose and fail to score?

Because we do not have two top grade central defenders we need to field 3 to do the job properly. And because blow me what formation have we been playing for almost all of this run of form.....If it works etc etc

It didn't exactly work wonders vs. Leeds and Ipswich. I get it as a stop gap when players were out and we were bleeding goals, but Tue night showed it's limitations. We had a wasted player doing nothing most of the game and struggled to progress the ball.

Also think Thomas and Kitching showed enough last season that they can work as a two, and they've been the best of the four since Kitching started playing again, so I don't think it's as risky as you do. I don't think we'll 1-0 our way to the playoffs either.

Why are people using Leeds and Ipswich as a bench mark? They are exceptions to the sort of teams we generally play week I and week out.
Our turnaround has coincided with playing 5 at the back.

I appreciate we'll move away from it in the near future but getting turned over by a premier league and a premier league elecet team shouldnt be the reason.

As for 1-0 ing our way to the play offs of our 5 wins in the last 6 two have been by more than 1 clear goal.

Personally, close season ready for next year. Unless we blow our play off chances, then sooner.

Barry 'Barnet' Bannan is out and Bernard is out, not the best at home plus they let in the most goals from corners in the league , we're in good form plus the 3 points is massive for us! Paterson with the winner

I get where you're coming from, just haven't seen enough to convince me we'll win 8-10 games from fourteen playing like we did on Tue night for the first hour.

I'm probably rushing it, though. Once EMC is fit to start, I'd switch, meaning Sat is a game too soon. I can see the case for some variation on 3 x CBs until then.

Channelling my inner Kevin Keegan, I would love it if we can beat these. Dirty team so we need a strong ref. Their manager went mental when they beat us at the CBS. Please return the favour.
If Bannon is out that is a big plus for us.

If Bristol fail to win with their 12:30 kick-off, and we in 9-0 (10-1 is also Ok but I would prefer a clean sheet), then we are in the playoffs. I think 5-0 will do for now, keep us under the radar.

We were under the radar 2 seasons ago until after we be beat Reading with two games remaining. Plenty to play for yet and plenty of twists and turns

Shame that we seem to be struggling to sell our allocation, especially as this is a relatively crucial game for both clubs ?

Isn’t this the most expensive away day after Leeds? most people probably out on Friday night, also getting ripped off for Valentine’s Day.

"Must win game", naturally...

Don't care for overanalyzing form, players, potential lineups, etc. My usual comments are just a general positive, looking to expect a
2-0 City win-- Simms + Torp.

It still fucking bugs me he got away with what he did last season and I remember Robins at the time being absolutely livid about it

Completely off the ball planted his elbow into Allen's face and hospitalised him and absolutely nothing come of it, if I did that in the street on a night out I would be nicked and charged with GBH, no different to an incident involving Pedro Mendes of Portsmouth and a Man City player who's name I can't remember

They were soon quick to ban Liam Kitching for having the cheek and audacity to be headbutted when we had played them a few weeks earlier though

TBF, at least 50% Allen's fault for headbutting Bernards elbow.

That elbow on Allen was utterly sickening and it was genuinely hard to watch Allen in the aftermath just wandering around in a daze

Their fans were all lapping it up as well, they are a weird old bunch who I have really grown to hate

Chris Waddle and the Arctic Monkeys are cool, the most of them though are complete arsewipes
