I've never known that be a thing, but coincidentally it did happen at a game in the PL (I think) this weekend. Saw it on highlights, might have been in the EFL. First time I've ever known it.

Didn't the game stop when we had the applause for the young lad who got ran over in Radford?

Think the ball went out for a throw and the throw in was delayed, or am I misremembering it?

Either way, it's a bit of a minefield with regard to the etiquette involved.

Might have happened, but if it went out for a throw then a natural break in play. Wednesday complaining the game wasn't stopped is mad.

The players should carry on playing and the fans should applaud if they wish. That's all there is to it for me. Stopping the game is a nonsense, you have a minutes silence/applause before kick off if it's deemed appropriate.

Isn't it just one clown of a supporter on Twitter moaning? His own fans have already shot him down & no mention of it from Wednesday or their manager who just said how poorly they defended.

Bannan gesticulating his arms about is just gamesmanship. They had the ball when the applause started but didn't put it out, strangely it only seemed to occur to him when we won it back.

I see today old sausage is complaining we need var after we beat them, saying they should have had 2 penalties, but var would probably not have given either, as contact was minimal. Lati actually backed out of his challenge and the guy just ran into him then dropped like a stone, and sausage doesn’t mention the handball by Lowe in their box!
These fucker are such sore losers, and old sausage is another whinging dick just like Farke and Wilder, must be something in the water up there.

That couple of blocks they have to the left of the away stand in the cantilever stand are some of the worst in the league

Although I did enjoy seeing their faces when the goal went in

Seen the comment doing the rounds on social media from a TikTok account saying that Palmer deserved the racism. Turns out the kid saying it is about 10 years old. Such a shame kids so young are still being taught from their parents and people close to them that's acceptable.

Kids say and do dumb shit even if they’ve been brought up right. The concern I have is any adults liking and sharing those views because they should know better.

Apologies if posted before, but this video of angry Yorkshiremen crying about Simms winner whilst we’re going absolutely mental is a thing of beauty!

Barry Bannon had plenty of opportunity to put the ball out of play when the applause started! but he decides to do a long pass to one of their runners and when that didnt come off he then started to moan that the city players should have thrown it out.

The only concern about Sheaf and Wright is the amount of time it’s going to take them to get match fit - not so many games left
