Give him consistent minutes and he will score at this level, same as last season. No one can get in form being in and out of the team and playing 20 mins here and there.

Thought the subs made a difference. Allen stuck with Bannon, Bidwell defended and Mason-Clark gave them something to worry about.
That was the type of performance from Simms that I have hoped for. Great battling and should have had a hattrick

That's a great win for us.
But Frank Lampard didn't show much tactical nous there, just rode his luck.

Really pleased for Ellis Simms though, an old fashioned centre forward.
