Now you can argue whether you think it was any of those things, but whether he made contact or not is irrelevant.

As I said before. Far better in a 1v1 situation than Dasilva and Lati. The latter really struggle when attackers run at them and whatever you make of MVE not being at his best this season, he’s still a better defender than both.MVE is no better defending

Where's Burroughs?Dasilva and MVE are terrible defenders and that is their main job. Fans give MVE a pass because of his forward play, but it doesn't mean he is a good defender.
Those two cause problems for our central defenders like Latibeaudiere and Binks in a lot of games. Fans often moan about the central defenders when they should look at the cause.
