Can anyone let me know if the Sheff Weds tickets usually make it to general sale? There are a couple of kids and their parents wanting to go with us who haven't been to a match before. Ideally will get everyones tickets together but will get my fam done earlier if it wont make general.

They have recently but are they giving the whole of the LL end this year? Thought I saw somewhere away teams may only get the lower part?

We’ve got full allocation, this will go to general would imagine. Also 12:30 which is tricky for some.

Meanwhile tickets for Millwall away are on general sale, and that’s only for the first part of the allocation!

It will make general sale. £35 and early kick off will put people off.

If you are in the lower tier be prepared for the one little kiosk window for the whole lower tier, it was a nightmare last season when I went

Quite like Wednesday for an away day. Not too far away, parking is sound, and if you're of a certain age then Hillsborough will always be a bit of a classic ground.

A tenner sounds like a lot to go and see primary school kids play.

We had 3.9k last season so a drop of 200 tickets
Last season it went to GS and we only sold around 3.3k and that was when we won 5 and out 6 in the league from mid Jan
Previous season we sold out at 600pts and was during the time we played them 4 times in 6 weeks
I'm in the same boat, want to take my 5 year old who is 6 two days later so fingers crossed... I think it will go to GS

It will be another game the moaners about being closed shop can attend, like Millwall…….so that’s 30 points to build.

as few others, taking my 6 year old to his first away day in city end (he’s been undercover at Huddersfield!)

If you're not buying all the tickets in one go, something to watch out for is being in different tiers from your friends, if that's important to you.

That's probably 200 seats that haven't been fixed.

any recommended pubs (that do food) within walking distance to Hillsborough? I'm planning to get there early with the kids to get F&D in them before the game

Anyone else seem to have constant issues when using eticketing?
Took me 15 minutes to get a ticket today.
Tried with my work PC, transaction wouldn't complete.
Switched to phone, same story, back to PC and finally got one.
Not the first time I've had this rigmarole

Yes, we have had real problems with both Leicester and Sheff Wed. The ticket office staff just shrug their shoulders and call it a glitch.

Go to Kelham Island - the walk is about 35 mins or you can take the tram (from Shalesmoor) or the bus to the ground. Lots of good pubs there.

Does our ticket office still receive physical paper tickets from the away club we are playing?

Saw the other day that Grimsby have been given an extra 2k tickets for their cup game at Hillsborough this week - Subject to the area of the ground they are in being awarded a safety certificate in time for the match, if no safety certificate then a full refund issued

So could possibly get some more if that goes to plan?

I'm not sure we'll sell this out anyway but even if we do I doubt its possible for a league game due to ST holders. Sheff Wed only opened one stand for the Cup to home fans.

Doubt it, can't see them giving us more than the LL end for a league game.

Correct me if I am wrong but we have only been given the Leppings Lane upper thus far? I would have preferred a lower tier ticket but couldn't get one

I did have a slight issue, chose tickets but wouldn't add to basket. Pressed Reset and all was OK then.

This will be upper and lower as they can only get 4k in the LL end now

from the SWFC site

"
West Stand

Situated behind the goal on the Leppings Lane side of the stadium, the West Stand is where visiting supporters are situated, with a maximum allocation of 4,000. The West Stand has an upper and lower tier."

https://www.swfc.co.uk/hillsborough/visiting-for-the-first-time

To be fair the LL upper is much better, the lower stand only has one hatch so it's a mare to get any food or drinks
