Looks like we are not getting him But... but we've made a bid?!? He MUST be allowed to speak to us. I don't understand. You can't reject bids, can you?

Unsurprisingly, yes you can reject bids.....funny that.

Suspect that one is sarcasm but seems a couple of them genuinely believe we should accept any offer. Dilussional.

Also obviously think they are massive and can offer higher wages despite their own financial troubles. Just shows every club has their idiots.

“Andy Webster, Blair Adams, Leon Clark, and Callum Wilson have all supposedly picked up injuries before the fixture that could see Coventry City reach zero points this weekend.

The fact that three of them could raise funds for a club suffering from a severe cash short-fall due to lower than expected attendance is purely coincidental I'm sure....”

Im talkling about the CLUB. we have the support, bigger than that we arent very good at using it to our advantage pal x

Agreed. Overall we have a massive fan base. Occasions when we took 12000 to Old trafford, regularly take 5-7 to cup away days, had 30,000 at a JPT match. Yes our average attendances are poor but only because the team is poor, not because we dont have the fan base. In my opinion we are both steeped in history but we are a bigger club.

You seem to have a problem with truth and facts .

They are a bigger club than ours. Same division but more fans. Good ground. Not being ruined by SISU. Have been in the top 6 countless times in the last 50 years. Without looking I would also say they have won more than us. And to top it all off they come from a city that also has another club bigger than ours.

Or do you have a different criteria to be met?

I do have different criteria my friend yes. My criteria is im a Coventry fan so we are a bigger club. No on realistic terms, we have more fans no doubt about it. Do SISU have to be brought into everything? the fans are what make a club. Thats proven by teams like Celtic

I see your point. A Topic like this is wide open for debate. I feel we are bigger despite recent times but I could be wrong. I still think 34 years in top flight football still counts for something. Where were they then? Sheffield Wednesday are a massive club, much bigger than Utd.

So in your mind we are bigger than Manure :pointlaugh:

I brought SISU into it as it is them that have caused much of the misery. It is them that have made us into a 2,000 home gate club. Remind me what division we were in and how big our gates were before them. We were nearly on a par with Sheff Utd before then. Didn't think I would have to spell it out though.

We were a bigger club for years. But now even Yeovil are bigger than us. This is how low we have fallen. But we will be back. We just need a bit of stability first. We do have the fanbase........at the moment. The one good thing SISU have done is get the players financial matters sorted out. It wouldn't take a lot to get most of the fans on their side. Playing in Cov again and a promotion out of Div 3 would make many happy.

To be fair they make some valid points.. Looking in from the outside, ot woulf appear the club have got away with a lot, only 10 point deduction, atill being allowed to sign players, owners carrying on under new name etc. sisu have played the league, and seemingly come out reasonably well
