Bare with me now I know this game is an age away, however is there anyway we can suggest a peaceful protest after the game, maybe by staying behind in the Ground and Singing for 15 mins straight?

Can't be bothered to be honest. Sisu have thick skins and sympathy vote is now exhausted.
Prefer to do something else and wait for Sisu to exhaust their toolbox.

I don't want to give up just yet!

Well staying away isn't making things happen quicker is it?

It's just that protesting seems so futile.
We are just waiting for the JR to be over and Sisu to decide our fate.

True. I know people expect NOPM to work but seems futile in my opinion Wingy.

We can't know that.

Once SISU made the decision to relocate us, it was never going to be reversed quickly.

Personally I believe that reducing their income is the most effective card we have to play.

I appreciate the post Robbo but im afraid the protests are gone now mate, like the others are saying we either cant be bothered or see no point. Im in the see no point category. I could be bothered but it wouldn't make a difference im afraid mate. All that can be done everyone knows and has been done.

In all honesty Robbo I doubt the reason most don't go Is down to NOPM ,It might be an add on but the main reason people hav'nt gone Is because they feel Its wrong. .

Wrong to be used as collateral for SiSU ,then the rest due to logistic /cost /health etc.

I don't get the no point protesting view either ,the FA/FL are still very worthy of pressing on our situation come the Spring and better weather.

I appreciate that this was never going to be sorted quickly but every Christmas I get given a Ticket for a home game and this year I won't. I hate not being able to support my team every game.

It maybe the most effective and the best weapon for the fans, but it looks like it will fail inevitably.

You sound exactly the same as me mate, its wrong to go but you are torn by wanting to support the club you love. I wont ever go but have considered it admittedly.

It's not about answering to anyone though Wingy I want my football club in Coventry I want too meet my mates in the City centre, hit the Flying Standard and have a Breakie, jump on a bus to the Ricoh and have a laugh while having a drink inside the ground and then head into the seating area and start the atmosphere.

I can no longer do this at the Ricoh, I can't take my Dad and Uncles to home games anymore.

Sadly its the dilemma we are in. If this was a normal groundshare we both would go Robo im sure.

Yeah I won't deny I have considered it. The Club I love brings me so much joy not just on the pitch.

How would you tell? Maybe with full gates Sisu wouldn't have agreed to negotiations. Or maybe they would've waited on stadium plans. Or maybe it's made things slower by strengthening the Councils hand.

My point is we have no reference.

As you said we have no reference, that in itself is the most annoying thing.

Its such a shit situation, not a day goes by I don't think about it. I hate sisu but I agree the rent of 1.3 a year was stupid. But with offers of around 100-200k a year I really don't see why this wasn't accepted. I don't believe this "we must own the ground" its BS. If true every club is dead so its not true. I Just don't get it. Got it knocked own by 1m and still rejected it. Also last xmas message from JS clearly stated wanted fair rent. What's changed?

If we owned the ground the overheads like rates, operating costs, maintenance, utilities, sewage , staffing etc would be far in excess of £100K a year.
Stupidity or greed ? or both ?

But there would be all the other income to offset against it.

Yes I just don't get it. I really don't. 100k a year rent and I know other costs but surely with tickets etc. I don't see why they need to buy the freehold? There reasons of car parking etc every penny. I just don't get it. Saved 1.2 mil in rent for a start.

Like the idea but iI doubt it will take off, like most people we all want to get away straight after a game and the result will make a difference.
SISU has rep pete the heart out of a lot of our supporters.

I can't make it, so have compensated by standing on the landing and singing for 15 minutes straight. That got the kids out of bed.
