I imagine the 3 games hit them harder than us given their paper thin squad.
I’m just saying from watching this game they looked all over the place. Defensive organisation was nonexistent. Some of their defenders got jogged past lol.

I was speaking to a friend of mine who is a SW supporter and he basically said this.
Their lack of depth and ability to bring on players which are going to make any kind of meaningful difference is going to cause them significant issues when there's a lot of games to play in a short period of time.
During the second half particularly they looked knackered.

What a day, what a start to the season, this is so good at the moment.
I thought we were a bit sloppy innpossession at times, gave the ball away a fair bit but the massive disparity in quality shone through.
Sakamoto and BTA were relentless, so pleased for them both to score. The move for Simms' goal was superb, KKH looks seriously quick and a great option off the bench against tired legs.
Loved that they played WLADITT at the end, then seeing some of the team hold off going down the tunnel to listen. Watching us draw at Newport or get smashed at Bristol Rovers in pissing rain i never imagined days like today.
Spare a thought for the Wednesday fans, feels a real shame for a club in a grand old ground like that to have had their souls ripped out.

Razzel your comments have nailed the day completely. I agree with everything you have said here, apart from I was at Ashton under Lymn visting IKEA for that Newport game, no idea about Bristol Rovers debacle.

I can't understand how we play three games in such a short time with significant injuries, two away, and win 3-0, 4-0 and 5-0 and some players were occasionally poor or made too many mistakes?
Thought we were lucky to keep a 0 against Millwall and the last gasp header from Wednesday, but we deserved to win every game.
You cannot be brilliant for 90 minutes and picking up on the odd mistake is somewhat obsessive perfectionism.
Brilliant team performance today in harsh conditions against a team that were unbeaten in the previous three.
Everyone was good and giving anyone a 6 is daft.
