Some lovely play at times but agree we looked at bit off it at times.

BTA obviously had a great game, Sakamoto too, thought Rushworth looked more solid again too. No one played badly really, Thomas and Wright had a few moments maybe.

Sakamoto MOTM for me. He was an absolute nightmare all game and didn't stop running. BTA also exceptional.

Notable mentions for Grimes, Allen, and Simms as well.

Dasilva and Wright looked off it. Thomas was awful defensively in the first half but a colossus when required to head the ball at either end of the pitch.

Nice cameo for Andrews.

Some players may have stood out individually but that was an epic team performance. The effort put into chasing down the ball and keeping that clean sheet was just incredible. I include all the substitutes in that. I think I saw Torp on his feet celebrating Saka’s goal like he’d scored himself. It feels like there is an incredible team spirit again at the moment. I’m just loving it!!!

Hard to mark anyone down today, another great team performance front, back, and across the pitch.

Sevens or eights all round for me, with BTA just nicking the MOTM award for his incredible work rate and appetite for the game.

He might not be the best technical footballer in the squad, but he epitomises the spirit in the team; he just never quits. Terrific performance today.

You can see why Lampard like Asante he never stops running and that’s why we are scoring so many, closing teams down and winning the ball back , it’s great to see keep it up lads, and now we can enjoy the international break.

Not being argumentative at all , Thomas ended up having a good game for me .

I think some people love to bash him but I think we are better with him in the team
He improved but he did look Shaky at the start of the game.

I think he’s more likely to have a range of games ie a 5/6 some games but 8/9 others.

Kitching much more likely to have a 7 every game.

Just my opinion of course

Opinions can be swayed by personal bias , opta stats have bobby at 7.23 for the season and liam at 7.03

Hmm. It's cliche, but a better side would've probably punished us for Thomas' mistakes today.

And it's not really just an isolated case. Defensively he's been the weak link so far this season and his passing just isn't anywhere near good enough to support our build up style.

People bash him for good reason. He needs to be more consistent as he's more than capable at this level.
