I am not always sure transfer embargoes are fair but in this case, non payment of a transfer fee due to another club, definitely is fair.

I wonder who they owe money too? It's reported for a player bought last year and they've failed to pay an instalment on that transfer.

Supporters screamed at a points deduction for our pitch issues but these clowns owe money to another football club. If that's a current first team regular it could give them an competitive advantage that they haven't paid for surely?

If we had their squad and got put in an embargo, I wouldn't be too worried that we couldn't sign anyone!!
Obviously would be a bit concerned as to why we were in one though!!!

If it's last year then the only player they paid a fee for (or didn't pay as it turns out) is Ahmedhodzic, one of the best players in the league.

Sounds like insuring your car the day after it's nicked.

Not sure you will get a pay out.

High Court papers show Cardiff City sought £20m coverage for the striker the day after he died.

I think Cardiff were under the impression the whole squad were covered under there insurance policy, rather than insuring individual players.

So the insurer won't pay out as they said Cardiff didn't notify them in time or add Sala to to the policy before the accident.

Cheeky fuckers, and they've only just paid the first instalment of the transfer fee.

Whoever the player is at Sheffield Utd they should be stopped from playing until the money is sorted.

I think the brokers had told them a few times before that they needed to tell them every time they signed someone. Any ordinary person tries what Cardiff did and they get a fraud conviction
