I think we will all be surprised by a marginal win tonight - say 2-1 - I know I will be!

I fancy us ,we should be brimming with confidense, a better team than when we drew in the league ,MR will want to keep the momentum going.

Gutted - i'm meant to be going but i gotta work late. Prefer following it on here to listening to it as well.

2-2, us to win on pens again.

Sheff Utd should win, but have a sneaky feeling we might bag this one.

Why should they?

Apparently they are expecting 10,000 tonight!

Be well happy with that.

Then hopefully they'll open the CT stand also.

Err, because they have only lost 2 games all season? Because they are a better side than us at the moment? Because we haven't won fook all for 25 years? Because this club has sunk to an all time low and is only just beginning to come out of the other side of it?

Someone's been up to the ground and they said 7,500 sold and are expecting close to 10,000.

I predict that the unthinkable will happen and we will come from behind too win 2-1. Doyle to score early for them, then DMC to reply before ht and Baker to bag a 93rd minute winner

Is it just the one stand open tonight or is it everywhere?

I think we'll win this 2-1 maybe even 2-0. They have looked pretty suspect in some performances this season. (Yes I know we have also but lately I think we have looked better than them).

IF (Yes a big if) we can keep the defence solid then we'll walk away winners.

Do they still have Quinn? He was their best player last time we played them.

We need Jennings / Bailey to do a job with Doyle though, he dictated play last time.

They were losing at 90 mins on Saturday against Port Vale at home. Ended up winning 2-1

They are good at scoring late goals. We are good at letting them in.

Your not wrong, not sure how a 'non-footballer' can dictate play

Actually it does surpise me about the size of the potential gate tonight for such a competition. Think maybe the hype and that it is Sheff.Utd has helped there...all this talk we are home and dry should we win this one? Its good marketing though. See what we get next round if we draw carlisle or someone...

That said its interesting to note the rules of this competition mean teams can not make wholesale changes from their 'normal' league starting line ups! That should mean two strong line ups for this game. I really hope we don't get injuries we could do without.

On the game itself....they do look strong at the moment but there is no reason to suggest we can't beat them. They are strong defensively so we will need to be at our attacking best, playing one up front may not be enough.

Won't be going but will be tuned in from a freezing Cotswolds.

I reckon we'll take this 2-0 I am hoping then the team might see how far they have progressed from throwing a 1-0 win away, and it might inspire some confidence.

Just the Tesco as far as I know but if we're looking at the 10k mark I imagine they'd have to extend this to part of CET too! Might piss off a few who normally watch from CET and have had to make do with a Tesco ticket.

Im going for a 1-1, and us getting a winner late in injury time. Edge to get the winner so we finally get to see his pre-prepared celebration......

Edit: im a twat and have read theres no extra time, and I know there's no extra time, yet I still predicted extra time!

Sheffield Utd have looked the best side we've seen at the Ricoh so far this season. I think we'll edge it though... I hope so, I've broken the habit of a lifetime and included them in my accumulator...

Looking forward to the game tonight, I don't mind that its the JPT if I'm honest.
Any chance of getting to Wembley with the city is all right with me.
Will be a tough game though and even if we win this game, I still won't have us down as big favorites to win the cup, as there are teams that have already beat us this season still left in it.

Will shape up to be a good match, and I'm bringing along friends who haven't been to a match in a few years, and another one who's never been to a Cov match! Wembley here we come!

In my opinion getting moved to the Tesco stand is an upgrade for them. Since they've made it the same price I can never understand people who prefer watching from behind the goal.
