I’m expecting a healthy clearout in the summer tbh. If there are players Lampard doesn’t rate then it doesn’t suit anyone to keep them around just because Dean Austin might like them - they’ll be moved on.

Hmmm, be careful what you wish for….haven’t Man City lost 7 drawn 2 and won 1 in last 10 ? Still got the outcome of the investigations to come as well

stick with the City (Cov) madness !

I will stress he hasn’t been up his standards but I think we need to keep playing him. We can talk about confidence but feel sheaf is another one who is going through a bad patch and will need to keep playing to get out of it.

I think we need actually to let him focus on breaking up play again, would look to shift to a 4-3-3 with sheaf as a holder and torp and Rudoni as 8s. Would take some work of him which might help him get back to what he’s really good at.

I think that time has passed. If you didn't leave during the Northampton season, which is the equivalent of staying with your wife after finding out she's been sneaking off to bukkake parties every weekend, then you are probably wedded to this club for life. No wonder we're all a bunch of headcases.

London surely if you’re gonna pick a safe football city. Lots of choice in team and at least one should be doing OK at any time.

Robins after seven years just fancied worse players for a change.

The second goal conceded last night (which is the similar to many goals we have conceded) points to poor coaching.

If the only improvement we see over the next few months is the eradication of this basic error, we will be in a better place.

And also Brad Collins’ T-Rex arms.

I don’t expect to see us improve defensively under Lampard, I don’t think that’s ever been his thing. The one hope I have is we’ll get better on the ball and TBF we have. We look much better going forwards when we don’t get stuck in the pass along the U or triangles by the box loops of old.

A team that was in auto form for a large part of last season and nearly got to an FA cup final.

If a dud like Robins can get them playing like that then with the elite level coaching set up now in place and the squad been fitter than ever we should soon start flying

Our league form last season had us nine points off the playoffs. And there are plenty of managers capable of beating Oxford, Sheffield Wednesday and Maidstone, it doesn’t count for anything.

We barely lost a game for 3 months.
So either this is a capable bunch of players that lost its way but which should soon start flying again under an improved coaching set up or they're poor and the the previous coaching set up did a fantastic job?

Of course the other option is they were carried by COH and Jamie Allen!

Yea, the on the ball stuff looks more dynamic and we look pretty secure tbh which should help the defence indirectly which I think we can already see (caveat of a tiny sample size).

Baring the second goal yesterday (which was a basic error, fucking engage the man on the ball!!!?) I don't think we've looked to bad at the back over the last two games at all.

Collins/Wilson are horrendous with shots from distance, Do in seems to be pretty good at shot stopping. He would be my GK.

Robins got them playing in the relegation zone chum.
Flapping about with no clue what to do.

I’d hope so. But it all rather makes a mockery of “the modern elite setup”. As I said all along you swap replacing three or four staff for replacing ten or fifteen.

Or it could be just a perfect storm of everything clicking together at the same time, with lots of players having a purple patch and over achieving.

The question is can FL improve the squad and our position from the mess Robins left it in, after he spent a fortune.
Yes he can. I hope he gets 1/4 of the money Robins got.

He was my favourite player the last few years, was sublime at breaking up play and getting us on the front foot quickly

This season, dreadful. Doesnt drive us forward anymore, cant pass, sidewards or back when he does, doesn't motivate or anything

Him and Milan have gone from our 2 best players to 2 of our worst

Utter nonsense - they're both still in our top 3 players but their performances have declined and as a result, so as the whole team.
