Add to the list of players who played better with a bandage in recent years. O'Hare, Big Vik, Bakayoko, Hyam and Jack Grimmer

Can you imagine an away team player making that so called challenge on a yellow and staying on the pitch?!!!

Haven’t seen the replay yet but proper cowardly of their player. He was holding the back of his head so obviously just turned his head and jumped into Sheaf

Sheaf refused to shake his hand and looked like he wanted to go full Kasey Palmer on him when he came off.

Sunderland player wasn’t even hurt, faked his apparent head injury to water down any referee action.

Time to give him a rest anyway. Eccles was a lot sharper than him when he came onto the pitch yesterday. I love Sheaf but he’s been off it for a few games now

Needed Torp alongside him today. Eccles was good but too similar in pass selection and unwillingness to shoot from range which IMO held us back second half before the goals. Exciting times. Just need a couple of forwards and everyone to stay fit/not sold and we’re looking a good shout for the playoffs.

Sheaf is consistently brilliant. We have lots of important players but he is the one we rely on most heavily.

Sheaf was sensational today. I don’t think he’s been his best recently, but today he was fantastic.

Actually thinking about what you're saying Torp could have unleashed a good 7 or 8 shots second half alone

Thought Eccles did well defensively today, covered lots of ground broke up attacks, and was pivotal in us keeping our shape, we didn't look like conceding until the ref gave a slightly fortunate pen.

Definitely agree that a new, quick striker would make us a very good top 6 team.

Eccles is great, he’s just too similar in pace. We needed something different to break them down. Then we could have won 6-1

If Torp gets up to speed quickly it's going to be such a bonus.

Just a wide forward or two and maybe a striker if I’m feeling greedy now. Three loans bang bang bang pls.

I think a striker plus a wide forward that's happy enough on either side is fine. No need to get the squad too stacked, got to keep them all happy.

Sheaf is a class act, even when he's not on top form, he is in the top 5 CMs in the league, today was one of the best CM performances from any central midfielder I've seen all season.

He's come under a lot of unnecessary stick, but even when he has a poor game he is rarely below a 7.

I genuinely don’t know why no Premier League clubs are sniffing around him. He is one of the best defensive midfielders in the league and every stat backs it up. Only 25 as well so not even in his prime.

When he’s out the team we look weak in midfield.. he’s so important and slowly growing as a complete midfielder.

He's been watched a few times.
Personally I think a lack of mobility holds him back from playing at the highest level but what a player for us.
