Sounds like they asked and we and Sheaf knocked them back. Think it would take something pretty special to prise a player away from a promotion push to a relegation battle TBH. Even for those contracted if we don’t go up the summer puts them in a stronger position and if we do then a better one than moving to a club likely going down.

Jokes aside, we really were spoilt with Hamer and Sheaf in midfield. No wonder Liam Kelly looked decent end of last year with those two playing alongside him.
Sheaf is ten times the player he was when we first had him. Hats off to the coaching staff.
