Gave the ball away halfway inside our half trying to play into the feet of the striker who misread it - was still an awful lot to do for Joao to score. Defence blameless for letting him shoot?

Dabo & others gave it away in much more dangerous areas at other times but just got lucky.

You must agree that Sheaf was one of the best players on the pitch tonight?

Took the words out of my mouth. Shouldn’t have given the ball away but that was a miscommunication between two players then three whole rest of the team switched off too. If Sheaf is to blame so are another 5/6 players.

Just a shame Sheaf’s poor pass, just about his only poor pass lead to a goal because that what gets remembered more than all his good work, these things happen and will happen again. He’s learning on the hoof and is proving to be an exceptional acquisition

It was a really good performance. I re-watched the game today and Sheaf was immense... Covered a lot of ground and kept it moving. Probably MotM . He's a class player and over time he will be one of our untouchables. Big shout out for Ostigard also. Was standout in the defense.

I thought he was MotM or close. Seems to be looking for the quick pass more (even if he has to go sideways / backwards) rather than searching for a forward pass that doesn’t appear in time. As others say, adjusting to the league and will be class.

People make their minds up about players within 2 games. Everyone had decided Hamer was class instantly and decided Sheaf was shite instantly. People still bemoan Bakayoko for being constantly offside based off one game at Blackpool two years ago despite Godden being much worse for staying onside.

McCallum scored a great goal with his weak foot last year

Can't wait to see Giles running at Grimmer. Lovely bloke but it's incredible that he's a Championship fullback.

IDK .
What did Premiership Fulham think when they took him from Aberdeen ?
Squad filler, insurance against a relegation?
Not a purists FB but industrious, popular, contributes to team spirit .
Is that enough though?
Probably wouldn't have made it but for the curtailment ,but they made the most of that opportunity.

The grimmer love continues after he has left i see. Jordy hiwula was at man city academy. What did they view him as? Being popular does not make you good enough for a certain level of football.
