"dissapointed"

"goals were schoolboy errors"

"up until 82 mins, we were in control of the game"

"the boy put such a hard shift in"

"you cant feel sorry for yourselves after every game"

"some of them think after 60 mins they did enough and good players dont do that"

"look at the league, there is not a great deal in it, we cant keep saying teh same thing after every game, i am so dissapointed"

"its a tough place to come"

"our chances were beter than tranmeres"

"jennings was excellent today"

"no idea about the managers job"

"dissapointed, we got beat to a team where we had the better chances and conceeded 2 stupid goals"

"not gonna be critical, we didnt take our chances"

Sounded like a whiny little bitch to me, just kept going on about how we controlled the game and deserved to get something from the game

Thought he was gonna flip out in that interview then! Really wasn't happy!

Think it's safe to say Shaw, you haven't got a 2nd interview. You'd have had a call by now!

I didn't go and only listened in but from the commentary I felt for 80 mins we certainly deserved to be level and were unlucky not to be leading.

Same old City though, mental resolve isn't there. Either through tiredness or concentration we just bent over in the final 10.

Just leaves you totally knumb.

Fisher basically said he didn't have the job at the forum. When some bloke said that we are still losing games from a winning position even though Thorn had gone. Fisher said "the new manager will sort that out"

On CWR i thought he sounded pretty peed off with the players and was trying hard not to come out straight with ....... the players are crap, and dont have the attitude or professionalism to do the job

Not to worry Richard, Fisher will give you as long as you need to get that first win you need to be declared manager.

I agree that Jennings was class today. Honestly I don't know WHY we're playing so badly but hear me out here, we don't have an AWFUL team. GK leaves something to be desired, Defence needs a better coach, Midfield is quite good, arguably the best in the league amongst Fleck, arguably the best CM in the league, Thomas, Jennings, Barton. And our strikers need a goal and some confidence. If I were a manager I would jump at this job, no wonder people want it.

Just get the cunts running it out of the way!

I've got an idea!

We kidnapp all of their familes (come on theres enough of us) and the terms of their release are that they must play for the full 90 minutes to their fullest ability or we'll make their families watch Aston Villa at home...or some other team we don't like etc

when will a manager (not just for us) come out in an interview and say. "we were shit. end of. it wasnt good enough. we have been poor for a while and its totally unacceptable."

i know there are a few that do it occasionally but i for 1 am fed up of hearing shit excuses week after week such as:

"we played well but were unlucky"
"it will come"
"they are doing well in training"
"the lads tried hard but were unlucky"

I've seen him play a fair few games, I have a Rangers fan in the family, I know how good he is. You haven't seen the tip of the iceberg mate. On top of that he's still getting better. He's very good.

Richard Shaw is old school, wasn't the best of players but succeeded by being professional, fit, working hard at his weaknesses. Played 10 years here and was mainly always in the team, played alongside something like 5 different partners. Seeing players fold and capituate must annoy the hell out of him but as a caretaker can't do a lot about it and as a manager unless he can bring players in he can't do a lot. Up the creek without a paddle comes to mind.

To be honest I don't know why people expect to get anything at all from interviews after a game. Of course they can't say what they really think. They would be out of the job in minutes. They say tired old clichees just to get through the interview.

I recall a certain Mr Clough went to Leeds and said all the trophies mean shit, forget it this is a fresh start. You're nothing but all the same.

I know he left pretty sharpish but frankly because they didn't like the truth. If only we could get a guy in to talk like that. Throw away the Sky Blue of the 60's, fresh start and all that.
