Does he not realise he is responsible? He is failing to galvanise the players? He's fairly clueless becuase he doesn't get it does he?

I think we should lay off shaw. He was thrown in at the deep end and we all know he's not the man for the job because of his lack of experience. Seems very unfair to slate personaly the sky blue legend that is shaw on what will be probably his last game as manager

It wasn't a great interview was it, ''players are making bad decisions and we don't know why'' :thinking about:

Fair play to him for giving it a go, but we need a new man in asap, this week preferably.

He pretty much ruled himself out, which is a good thing...

I think the way he gave that interview was of a man who knows he is not in the running for the job.

He has been told I think that he ain't on the 9 man shortlist

Well said. Lets not berate a former playing legend. He was never going to get the job anyway, i'm sure of that. I think the rot that set in years ago, is so widely spread through the club it quickly affects the players that come in. Lets hope it doesn't happen with the next appointed manager else it will be League 2 football next season, IF the club is still alive.

legend is an over and misused term and not appropriate in this case.

I like Shaw, loved him when he played for us, but always treated it as ironic hero worship.
My main memory of him was sprinting full pelt, sliding 10 yards to prevent a throw in and giving away a corner in the process.

Legend? No

My strongest memory of him was him being sent off against Wimbledon just after he'd signed. Aside from that nothing.

This is Shaws fault because he signed all the players? Dropped Mcsheffrey? Ditched the diamond formation? Or just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Our midfield players ( aside from Baker) are rubbish and he didn't sign that useless Man U player on loan. But yeah other than that he's totally at fault and how dare he bring in Mcgoldrick....

In not blaming Shaw myself, just backing up someone saying he isn't a legend.

11 years service to the club, 317 appearance's yeah he was shit weren't he. We wasn't a striker and didn't score goals so he can't possibly be a legend right?

I also liked Shaw as a player, but one memory sticks out for me as well. We were playing Arsenal. Ian Wright had picked the ball up (not literally!!) from about the half way line, belted forward, dazzled the midfield and was on a one-on-one with Shaw. Amazing footwork by Wrighty, left Shaw chasing his shadow and went on to score a beaut! Wrighty made Shaw look an amateur that day!

He's ruled himself out now I actually decided to back him at the bookies, though we would have beat Stevenage........

So he can cross then - just no forward can read them? At least I think that is what you are saying but not sure that was your intention!

Baker is a fine 3rd division player and that good people is where we are. He would get into most sides we have played this season I think.
