When a big event like the motor show is on you can never get a room at the NEC. As already stated we had to use numerous hotels for staff and many were in Coventry.

You seem to know a lot about this. Are you an experiential manager?

When was the last time the motor show was on at the nec?

They may still host one at the Excel near Dockland's but Is a shadow of Its former self.
Natural In a Way with so many producers out of business In Britain. But a massive show In its day. It was'nt just one show either IIRC.
Besides the NEC show, one at EarlsCourt and then Straight on the trucks Up to Scotland.

Used to hate that, after a weekend night on It In town, head bashing off the window, saliva trickling down chin and then after a five mile ride wake up for the two miles on foot.

Just had breakfast and haven't read all pages, but I thought this was about building hotels. What has the ACL loan got to do with that? Any news that they are defaulting?

looks like the thread that deserved a page tops is slowing down.

Perhaps the irrelevant fact that west brom u21 are playing wolves u21 at the Ricoh will reignite things for you.

As far as I know there has been no financial information (i.e. annual reports and accounts) released by SBSL, Otium or ACL and at the moment any comments by us on here are guesswork.

Cracking site for a hotel(s).

Guest will be able to visit Tesco or the burnt out ruins of the Rowley Green WMC, or that smelly place next to the stadium.

"Well, may I ask what you expected to see out of a Holbrooks hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain...?"
