Derby and Sheff Weds games already sold out.

it’s going to be carnage for non-STHs trying to get Portsmouth and Wrexham tickets.

I really hope they use the points system to make it fair otherwise what’s the, um, point?

Aren’t point systems aimed at away fans?

I think the only restrictions they use is “only open to previous purchasers”. Can’t see them bringing anything else in for the last couple of games.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t bring in the points system or have an open to purchases this season before purchase history.

It's not difficult to do... but like others have said, probably does not require change ay this stage.

It's taken weeks for them to sell out. I'm in the same boat as you but think it will be easy to get tickets if you're quick.

Introduced because demand significantly exceeded supply.

We’re only now reaching a similar scenario for home games.

Surely straight forward to implement and fair in the same way that the away points system is fair.

I doubt it will be seen as necessary.

Next season I’d assume that there will a membership subscription for non season ticket holders to be considered for purchasing of to any tickets

Costing anything from £50 to £100 - makes sense.

Next season with 23000 season ticket holders, 3000 away fans unless we are allowed to keep at 2k there is going to be an almighty scramble for matchday tickets every game

10% or 3000, whichever is smaller.

They cappped season tickets at 24,000 this season, I think? From memory, we sold just over 23,500.

I can’t imagine there will be a lot of folks who don’t renew…unless Bling puts the prices up prohibitively. If there’s a similar cap then, what, just 4,000 tickets for general sale?

£60 for the games against the big 6?

Imagine telling us that this would be the case ten years ago.

Think I’d of had you sectioned.

I expect the resale tickets won't amount to very many either.

I think the cap is a bit misleading. It's just a marketing thing. When sales have slowed pretty much to a halt we get a made up cap to encourage a few more sales.

If we go up next season may be different as we've seen PL clubs actively discourage season tickets as they can make more selling to day trippers. Not sure how much King would want to risk that being true for us.

Fair enough. But surely all of us ST holders will have chance to renew again?

Because we guarantee season ticket holders the right to buy a cup ticket, we have to cap the numbers to ensure enough space to hand over the whole south stand to away fans
