Probably, maybe a couple of trialists in there. Is it at Rugby?

According to their website they only have 6 players, all outfield. They do have Kevin Thornton though. Has to be one of the biggest disappointments in recent years.

Has to be a big disappointment? In whose eyes? At City Thornton was an up and coming star with 'good' wages. But, he had a drink problem.

He re-evaluated his life and took the money out of the equation and now has sorted out his life. He enjoys football again and is leading a happy life.

So why should he evaluate his life and life's successes on your opinion?

I think he's referring to his potential. Had a lot of ability as a footballer.

I wasn't suggesting he should evaluate his life. I was talking as a CCFC and from that perspective he was a player who came through the ranks with huge potential and caused a big buzz in the fans.

Dry youre eyes sweetheart

He had a lot of potential as a football player and it didn't materialise. What's all this about evaluating his life? Where'd you dream that up from?

A player with potential that didn't materialise for whatever reason football world is full of them, I am working with a chap late thirties now on city's books was chased by about a dozen top level clubs, I asked him what happened and he honestly said in the end he just wasn't good enough !

Kevin Thornton no longer plays for Rugby Town and is joining another local team.
