After much thought and listening to all views, opinions and weighing up facts. I've decided that the NOPM approach will not drive out SISU. My team is a pawn in a business tug-of-war and I'm the one (all fans) that's losing out on my main interest/passion outside family & work.

I'm supporting the team this Sunday and am quite sure a few hundred more supporters than the Bristol City game will take this view too.

I do support away too and am going to Shrewsbury (less contention) and would especially encourage those sticking with the NOPM conviction to come too...

I'll be there but sorry don't share your views going to Shrewsbury and the Hill at Northampton just cannot bring myself to support the lairs that are running my Club into the ground and it hurts as the song goes. so NOPM for me.:blue:

At the start of this saga I, and many other fans, supported the NOPM campaign. I attended the protest march and was close to pitch invading at Crawley. The turning point for me was when I discovered that SISU have proved that they can fund all of this including a stadium. I dont believe they will be starved out but I do believe that other measures that the fans take can influence decisions at our club. Im not ready to attend Northampton just yet but its turning that way.

Would you still be going to the Hill if you couldn't see the pitch from there?

Totally disagree with your stance but thats just my opinion. I won't be slating you though you are entitled to make your mind up about going to Northampton.

Who said they can afford it fL have not seen the Proof just believe it is so.

To be honest you can only see a part of the pitch and only one end. If you had a good view then Cobblers fans would use the hill...they dont.

These things take time remember, of course the decision is yours you are free to do what you wish. But remember every business like SISU are there to make money, it's never personal in the long term. NOPM is a good initiative but need fans to show strength and be in it for the long haul until the wrong doings of this club leave instead of getting bored and giving up.

Yes Not going to watch the match just going to show my disapproval would also have gone to Walsall or any other ground and they don't have hills

I thought Clarke had said he hadn't seen the evidence but the FL accountants had.

Which Law is that the one we abide by or their own?
They all seem to do as they please and the rest of us have to watch our P and Q's or face legal threats

I will stick to NOPM.
I am going to go to at least one away game per month to keep my support "live".
I will not abuse those who go to Sixfields but it is disappointing as I believe SISU and Otium are taking us for mugs. If they cannot get the Ricoh or permission to build a new stadium they now know many fans will follow. Next time it could be further afield. For that reason I go away only until CCFC return to Coventry.
IMO you have to take a principled stand and stick to it. Respect others feel differently.

Keep the faith.

All proof of funds means that on a certain day at a certain time X ammount was available. Its like my bank account when I get paid it would look like its pretty flush check it out three weeks later its a different picture. Just because they have funds available to build a stadium doesn't mean they will

No I dont believe they will build a stadium but if they have the funds to cover losses for a 3/5 year groundshare whats the point in trying to starve them out. Another approach is needed

Something else aswell, put it into perspective that we actually get promoted this season. I guarantee we will be at the Ricoh for the start of next season. even 5% revenue at the 32,000 seater stadia with higher attendences at £150,000 is much better business than staying at a 7,000 seater paying 170,000 with a maximum of 7,000 every week with nearly half of the revenue. Get promoted and SISU will have no option but to return

Who says they have the funds to cover losses over the groundshare, didn't TF state that he expected up to 7,000 fans at Sixfields?

But surely those funding projections to the Football League would have been based around our achieving of gates up to 7,000?

It will be interesting to see the attendance this Sunday when the away team don't make the numbers look higher. Expect around 500 PNE at the most.

Im going on Sunday as well didnt go to the first game at sixfields and didnt want to go to the Ricoh as in my opinion pressure has got to be put on both sides as i think ACL/CCC have a lot to answer for in all this and if the casino and compass were boycotted they would put pressure on ACL/CCC to sort it out.At the end of the day the football club needs to own the stadium otherwise we will go from one diaster to another.

You dont miss the "souless bowl" but love the shedwith less than a thousand including free City fans. Looking forward to the "souless" shed that Tims promised then and dont use the phrase Highfield 2 its pathetic.

Every stadium is 'soulless' until it develops a sense of history and memory. This obviously doesn't happen immediately (or at all if you never return).
