Somewhere it is suggested we have asked to speak to Pressley to discuss terms.

I assume it is actually to interview him.

So there is still a second candidate.

Pressely is going to have to out perform the other candidate. As Pressely is going to cost money.

Wonder who the other one is.

Keith Curle?

Yes it says he will hold talks regarding personal terms.

So that does sound like he has been offered the job and still has to agree terms.

He must have something special about him for SISU to contemplate paying money.

Unless they just don't pay of course

Without opening the tapping up debate, do you really think that discussions haven't already taken place before this became public, this is nailed on.

As i mentioned on another thread, id have thought we'd have needed permission before now from his parent club, for him to have got through the interview process. If he had been one of the final two surely he'd have needed his clubs permission to attend what would be atleast 2 interviews before meeting to talk personal terms?

It makes sense now he has done well at introducing and using the youth players at Falkirk.

Wag said that is what we have to do next season.

If he has already had an interview at Cov before today then I would assume we had permission to interview him

We wouldn't have to pay any compensation for Pressley as he has a gentlemen's agreement with his chairman where he is free to speak to other clubs who come in for him.

Falkirk have a gentleman's agreement with him he can leave if a club comes in for him that will advance his career. Not sure we qualify to be honest.

Ooh beat me too it.
