I believe that it should have a law to curtail the rampant commercialisation of Christmas, or at least limit it length. There should be no Christmas stuff in the shops, or adverts until the double edition of the Christmas Radio Times is in the shops.
As for Easter, that is primarily about chocolate and you shouldn't limit the availabilty of chocolate in as many forms as possible.
