Does the driver usually have two people directly either side of him?

This is just the seats behind the driver, that would be a different configuration which I don't have to hand :shamefullyembarrased:

It's got to be better than Northampton though, right? Numbers are looking better already by some accounts. If we got through that, we can get through this!

Maybe less pressure on the players as well...less people to boo them!

I'm sure it will be. Northampton was pretty dire, especially evening and winter games. Still glad I did it though.

I think the atmosphere will be more positive, particularly at away games where I hope there aren't the bust ups of the Northampton season and I don't see anyone shouting scab yet but 3,000 people including away fans knocking round a stadium the size of St Andrew's is going to be depressing. I doubt we'll be able to get an atmosphere going at all.

Doubt it will be much worse than the Ricoh. St Andrew's is at least a proper stadium. I don't think modern bowls do anything for atmosphere.

Yep, agreed. But I guess my point was to the fact that we managed to get through Sixfields were the atmosphere was arguably worse than what it'll be at St Andrews. We still managed to get players in, we still managed to play decent football, we still managed to get decent results (by and large) **despite** Sixfields and its lack of atmosphere. I cannot see St Andrews being as bad.

And as Torch says, it's not like the Ricoh is the hotbed of atmosphere!

Hmm, I agree that I prefer a 'traditional' ground. Ricoh can manage a great atmosphere with a big crowd mind you. The other thing that'll trash St Andrews atmosphere is looking out across two empty stands - three when we have away teams who bring about 150. At least the Ricoh tended to have *somebody* all around the ground.

That counts for a lot. You can have a half-decent atmosphere in a small stadium when it's packed out. St Andrews will be taking inspiration from TS Eliot at times.

Remember when arsenal were doing up Highbury and they had that painting of fans behind the goal. We should be able to get something for the Ricoh (if we ever return). Not fans or a painting but a giant cov badge behind the goal draped from the roof to behind the goal would look better than an empty stand.

Edit - Mural is the word I was looking for.

Yeah, the return game against Gillingham was great. It has had it's moments; far and few between unfortunately.

Is it like those old 3 wheel disabled cars, he'll pull up right to the pitch so he doesn't even need to get out to watch the game?!

Come in from the other side so you're coming down Adderley Road.

Head for Dudderston Station, stay on Dudderston Mill Road then right on to Adderley Road and you'll be at the Wheels car park.

So it’s cheaper to go hospitality in Kop stand for £375 with parking included than pay £260 for an ST and then £125 to park by the Kop stand.

How do the match packages work? My son, who will be 14 when the season starts, & I will only be able to get to maybe 3 games each next season. Can I buy a 6 match package and use it for both myself and son 3 times or does he have to have a separate one?

No that's fine, you can just order tickets as you need them.

You could take 6 people to one game and use them all if you want.

Only thing is, if you buy an adult one to share with him im not sure what that's like cost wise if he's 14 and he's using an adult match pass.

Thanks Nick. It depends how much it costs per individual game, if it is £20 for me & £10 for him that'd be £90 if we got to 3, no idea yet what the match packages will cost yet, it costs me about £90 in diesel to attend each game so ticket price is not that important.
