I completely support the club clamping down on people using the wrong tickets, however if they’re asking for proof of DOB from people who have already provided it (even if it was 11 years ago), are we to assume that the club has lost that information?

If that’s the case I can see why people would be nervous about providing it again

They dont keep the ID copies.

What they should have is something on the system that says "ID Checked" with a date, time and a staff member name so they know that the ID has been checked for that fan.

You need approval from him. Get him to send an email to you. Or maybe phone him when you’re at the club?

If it was that long ago then I'd be glad they no longer had it on file due to GDPR.

As has been said there should be an ID checked button that fulfills the criteria. Maybe there is but it has become corrupted if we've changed computer systems? Maybe DK saw how many unlawful concessions were being used which according to the system were valid and so has ordered them all to be rechecked.

Personally I think it's fine to request it, as long as there is the opportunity to not have to send the proof via e-mail or for the club to keep it on record.

They must have DOB somewhere when I turned 60 I had a concession it only lasted a year as they changed it to 65 last season

They informed me about the concession and then again that I no longer qualified for it and needed a full price ticket.

Companies can't keep people's personal details indefinitely. It's governed under GDPR laws.

I’m pretty sure though that they’re allowed to keep them whilst they’re still needed. If someone has been a customer that whole time then it would be considered to be a legitimate reason to keep it surely?

They have said they dont keep it, they just look at it and get rid.

Obviously actual personal details will be in the system like name / address etc.

The only reason they can be doing that is to reduce STs being lent to other people.

I know I bore many of you on the Season Ticket Fund updates but I had an update from John (CCFC COO) this morning saying that Doug and the club wanted to help, appreciate what the fund has done and continues to provide with the donations from all of you and others.

We still had families and individuals we wanted to help but we can only do what we can with the funds raised.

I was overwhelmed with their support, they have offered to help with a further 28 season tickets from the club which will take us up to 99 for this year, just a phenomenal gesture, I am still a little tearful and emotional with this news but wanted to share with you.
This club and fans are just incredible.

Thank you everyone who has donated to make this possible. I may have to find a few more pounds now just to make it a round 100

Pretty pointless trying to judge ST sales now that match day tickets are available. Anyone buys a ticket for any game this season and that seat becomes unavailable for ST sales.
