That is ridiculous, it could cause many enquiries to move seats that aren't possible just giving the ticket office more work & emails/phonecards to answer.

Also makes no sense
How do I know what’s available if I can’t see it??

You will end up in a back and forth email trying to find different seats and end up staying put

We moved from 29 to 23 when we renewed but I would like something a bit further along and a few rows higher

The club has a long way to go to remove utterly stupid red tape. About time we made Ticketmaster earn their extortionate transaction fees!

there is still lots, lots more than they thought and planned for though. Sold more tickets it seems but people don't want to move to behind the goal it seems

Sold more than I expected to be honest and it's still relatively early days. The rows around me are sold out.

People apprehensive about moving. Still certain there will be a gradual shift and plenty will hate not being next to away fans.

I think we'll see more dots disappearing behind the goal as people start to move round to the newly opened stand.

Big pain as I like my current seat but would like to be 10 rows closers. Would imagine all who want to move behind the goal will do that today, so will give them a call on Thursday to see what is free in my block

If other clubs using ticketmaster have an option to do it online why haven't we got this in place as everything is done online now.

I think the club were hoping that supporters who wanted to move to blocks 10-13 would just buy
there and not renew their current seat.

Managed to get through on the phone and they moved our season tickets over. It would have been better if I could have seen the seats on the plan but I was given an decent description, how many rows from the back, how many seats from the stairs etc. The ticket office did a good job

I planned to renew this morning and got stuck on a work call so missed the 10 deadline - yes I know I should have done it before today. I have emailed the ticket office (can't get through) hoping for some common sense and that they'll be happy to take our money before the free-for-all on Friday

Just been up the ticket office to move my seats was busy took an hour in the queue. Was running out the Matchday ticket office and only three counters open.

They were letting people renew seats but there is the chance someone has already moved into it.

That said they weren’t selling any new tickets So it’s only people renewing or moving.

Guy in the queue waited an hour to be told he couldn’t buy a new season ticket.

I wonder how many sales are lost due to the, amount of dicking about there can be trying to make a purchase?

We're a strange football club I must say , tickets should be still able to purchase online , and fans should be able to move online too today , mental behaviour

I am one of the lucky ones, very happy with my seat. In fact it is a big motivator to keep renewing the season tickets.

Same here. We're in a row of 7 as we're above a stairwell. Doubt I will ever move.

No that’s why I went up the ticket office otherwise I would have been stressing. Sure they’ll get round to the email but in the meantime seats are being allocated and there’s no way to look online

I finally got through on the phone. They said they’re not showing any seats online to ensure existing ST holders get the priority to move into any vacant seats, otherwise new buyers would snap them up.

Isn't the idea that people who want to move, ie: existing season ticket holders, get first dibs on any released seats?

Not sure why so many people are moving anyway, we normally have people kicking off if they're forced to move, now there seems to be hundreds of people moving around. Does this happen every season?
